Santorum: Obama leads with a 'different theology' not from the Bible

Rick Santorum drew applause from Ohio tea party voters - but perhaps raised some eyebrows, too - when he suggested Saturday that President Barack Obama leads based on a theology different from that in the Bible.

It left some wondering whether he was implying that Obama subscribes to a religion other than Christianity.

Obama, he continued, is not motivated by "your quality of life.”

“It's not about your job. It's about some phony ideal, some phony theology,” Santorum said. "Oh, not a theology based on the Bible, a different theology. But no less a theology.” ...

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

"And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing."

- 1 Cor 13:1-3

Perhaps adding love to SA's doctrinal requirements would be biblical.

Even the nicest unsaved reprobates will go to hell as Matt 7:21-23 teaches.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The only part of Santorum's theology I was referring to was his Pro Life theology which is based upon the Bible. Of course if Santorum is not Born Again then his other theological doctrines are not based upon the Bible.

Any statement of women's right to reproductive health is pure ignorance. Abortion slaughters unborn girls before they are given their " undeniable constutional right" to "choice".

I say neither one of them are following True Christ of Scripture. They have rejected the true Gospel and are working to bring in the new world order antichrist kingdom. Christ Said over and over again, not to be deceived. I believe they are in the occult, Babylonian mystery religions, with high degrees of regard for Islam. It does matter what you believe. Satanism posed as an angel of light, does matter. Acting like evil doesn't exist, doesn't make it go away. Watch:

That is an accurate statement which I could say in other words as 'Obama's pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-Muslim, pro-socialistic/communistic theology comes from Satan

BUT so does the often subtle twisting and denying of what the Bible actually says and teaches into Roman Catholic Tradition, Masses, Rosaries, Blasphemy and Idolatry.

AND BTW if you want to think logically or honestly might be a better word CEASE putting words into other people's mouths, lying is still a sin even if you have said a supposed sinnner's prayer in a non-denominational church.

Werson, excellent comment to John Y Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

Mr. Santorum being a Roman Catholic can hardly criticize Pres. Obama for not being a Christian.

1) Being lay members of a church means nothing in terms of equal understanding of biblical truth.

2) There is no social gospel as such in Scripture. There are works God provides for those who have been transformed by the preaching of the gospel, who have been brought from the domain of sin to the realm of Christ.

3) The rights of women to "reproductive health" have nothing to do with taxpayer funding of abortion or "free" contraceptives. Trying to find biblical support for justification is ludicrous. It is obvious to everyone but the most rabid non-thinkers that pregnancy is not a sickness nor a disease. You want contraceptives? Pay for them yourself. Otherwise, keep it zipped.

What the Jesuit Order is for the left wing of the Roman Catholic Church, Opus Dei is for its right wing. (Hegelian politics at its finest, for the Roman Catholic Church cannot lose if it has strong ties with both ends of the political spectrum! Of course, to work it requires Protestants to be duped into political alliances with heretics.) Many Protestants are not familiar with Opus Dei though, so a bit of education is necessary.
