TBN Founders’ Granddaughter Claims Misuse of ‘Charitable Assets’

Paul and Jan Crouch

In what may appear to outsiders as a family feud, Brittany Koper is alleging that Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) founders Paul and Jan Crouch have illegally tapped into “charitable assets” totaling more than $50 million for personal use.

But TBN’s attorney tells Charisma News that Koper—the Crouches’ granddaughter—is making “absurdly ridiculously, untrue statements.”

Koper is the daughter of Paul Crouch Jr., who served as chief financial officer at TBN until he resigned in September. At that time, younger Crouch moved into a position as director of project development at The Word Network. He declined to comment. ...

yes, Mike of Florida, there used to be an acceptable holy land Temple replica in Florida, as I believe the article I put up about the The Teflon Evangelists the Crouches ruined it. Holy Land Experience chief resigns 10 weeks into TBN takeover The Temple that Won't Quit.

Lurker. Very true! We are not to look at outward appearances. But from a biblical standpoint.. According to 1Tim2:9 there is nothing... Modest or in moderation going on with them..

It's not biblical to judge hearts by the outward appearance but I couldn't help but think that if Jan Crouch had an ounce of Christain compassion, she would donate her rug to about twenty cancer patients.

I thought the favorite charity of TBN's founders were themselves The Teflon Evangelists.

Without some sort of proof, we don't know. I do not understand why anyone would give money to an organization that provides no financial transparency at all. Not just TBN, since most high-profile ministries these days solicit donations but provide no information about what they do with donated money.

Occasionally, some information spills out into the public, but what bothers me is the overall lack of accountability of ministries which solicit donations but don't tell the donors where the money goes by providing financial statements.
