We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring’s fight against tyranny. But, in fact, a wholly different kind of war is underway—an unrecognized battle costing thousands of lives. Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm.
The portrayal of Muslims as victims or heroes is at best partially accurate. In recent years the violent oppression of Christian minorities has become the norm in Muslim-majority nations stretching from West Africa and the Middle East to South Asia and Oceania. In some countries it is governments and their agents that have burned churches and imprisoned parishioners. In others, rebel groups and vigilantes have taken matters into their own hands, murdering Christians and driving them from regions where their roots go back centuries....

When migration first occurred they naturally retained their loyalty to their king and country.
It was only after the oath-breakers' rebellion that the "U.S." came into its hypocritical existence. It is the US that is aberrant not today's immigrants.

Not necessarily wrong, just unrealistic, IMHO. Loyalty oaths only work when most people really believe it's a sin not to keep vows, & I have grave doubts that many Christians, let alone others, really believe this. How many are taught the 10 Commandments, in particular #3? Look at the divorce rate. Look at seminaries or denominations who tolerate heretical teachers in their midst. Ask 'em no questions, & they'll tell you no lies.
Or else, some pietists think it's a sin to take *any* oath, in good faith or not.
BTW, it was Francis Bellamy, a xenophobic Baptist socialist , who cooked up the Pledge of Allegiance.
When foreigners came to migrate to the U.S. they were required to place their allegiance in America and their homeland was then considered second. Why is that seen as wrong today? Does not our government want people in our country who swear allegiance to America and not another? And why would it be wrong to immediately deport those that refuse allegiance to America back to their own homeland? What, is this too logical? It has worked for every kingdom in the history of mankind until today where tolerance is now more important than national defense...

People need to be much more aware of the danger of Islam. The mainstream media is on their side. The recent trial of the Shafia family in Canada was treated like family violence by the media instead of the muslim honour killing that it was. Thankfully the jury saw through it all and found them guilty.
