Sen. Rand Paul ‘detained’ by TSA in Nashville, TSA denies
Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s press secretary Moira Bagley tweeted on Monday that Transportation Security Administration officials were detaining her boss in Nashville, Tenn.
“Just got a call from @senrandpaul,” Bagley tweeted at about 10 a.m. on Monday. “He’s currently being detained by TSA in Nashville.”
Texas Congressman and current Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul – Sen. Rand Paul’s father – placed a post on Facebook about the news as well. “My son Rand is currently being detained by the TSA at the Nashville Airport,” Ron Paul posted. “I’ll share more details as the situation unfolds.”
Ron Paul adds, via Twitter, that the TSA detained his son “for refusing full body pat-down after anomaly in body scanner.”...

PolyU I take it by NDOP you are speaking of the National Day of Prayer.
And NO! I do not expect a pro-Muslim, pro-partial birth abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-Christian (in genuine Biblical sense) would ever apart from Repentance and the New Birth to be a new creature in Christ would ever call for national repentance from the truly heinous sins this nation is GUILTY of and deserving the wrath of Holy God for, since BHO serves Satan either knowingly or unknowingly not Christ.
BTW if you understand "hirelings", they are not calling for repentance either, because they do not care for the people but only for their own skins or interests.
Back to the thread the TSA is only a tip of the iceberg so to speak of the problems of government run amock because churches are like salt that has lost its savour (to wonderfully pierce the hearts of sinners to repent and turn in obedience to God for His Salvation) and are good for nothing anymore execpt to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

Can you hear me snicker? In 2008 he was running for president. Words didn't make him Christian then; actions now confirm they were only words.
the only candidate that cares that TSA is stripping 80 year old women in wheel chairs is Dr. Paul.
He's a Christian, supported by military, was in military, is actaully on the ballots, and wants the cohn as law.
For a generation now I have heard "conservatives" complain about the liberal agenda to circumvent the concept of individual rights coming from the higher power of God--they used European law and now soviet leg to circumvent this.
Here is a man who doesn't want to liberalize but follow the original intent --- limiting his own power-- he's the only one who is not running for KING.
Isn't that what evangelicals seek from a pastor is not one who liberalizes the teachings of Christ but puts himself under the teachings of Christ?
Evangelicals are on the fence right now, my eyes were opened the moment the trillions were signed over by both parties--I stopped believing this ping pong match, and started seeing that the agendas from both sides are the same -- and its emassing power.
In the end, trading ind for security from the "king", is not going to fare well for the church. Look at history-- but even then God is sovereign, and I am confident that if believers continue to follow the ways of mammon, it will be for their own discipline.
PolyU, it is great that God always picks the rulers in the end. Whatever you're litmus test is, for an acceptable candidate, I assume that will be who you vote for.
