How Christians Become Cannibals -Tattoos, Immodest

The modern day 'religious' experts include the tattoo parlour in the local evangelical church and it is those modern trendy know alls who are moving the church towards pagan culture INSTEAD of preaching the gospel that one time converted even cannibals out of a pagan culture and turned them into Christians.

As a former tattooed pagan living in a pagan culture and whose tattoos are under the blood, glory be to Sovereign Grace that some still preach the power of God unto salvation without the gimmicks of rap, hip-hop, amusement & clowns, 'Christian' tattoo parlours and the rest and evidence their salvation by a changed heart and godly life!

The problem with some modern day experts is why reject the old paths doctrine of sanctification and believe their trendy jesus would have sat tattooing his disciples with 'what would jesus do' as he preached the gospel of 'repent and believe' :

The Old Guy Definition?

Michael you are right. These are our mission field. How do we expect the world to behave? It is a sad state of affairs when we have our own Christian brothers and sisters doing the same things.

If Jesus were physically walking the earth in our day would not these people be the sinners that He would be accused of spending too much time with?
And wouldn't they be the ones who would by the grace of God repent long before our modern day experts in religion would imagine there was anything amiss with themselves?
Absolutely!
He would be presenting them with a life changing gospel like missionaries have done for the heathen for many years

What a crazy day. I go to the store and see grandmas with tattoos and grandpas with earrings. {When I was growing up tattoos were for sailors and biker chicks}The checkout stand is plastered with nudity. I am having trouble understanding the cashier because of the piercing in her tongue. The guy at the gas station is mostly a weird bluish black color because he has tattooed a great majority of his body…and I am expected to accept all this as normal? We have turned into a nation of heathen savages. We look like something from a 1960’s National Geographic.

Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

(Adam Clarke)"Nor print any marks upon you" - It was a very ancient and a very general custom to carry marks on the body in honour of the object of their worship.

All the castes of the Hindoos bear on their foreheads or elsewhere what are called the sectarian marks, which distinguish them, not only in a civil but also in a religious point of view, from each other. Most of the barbarous nations lately discovered have their faces, arms, breasts, &c., curiously carved or tattooed, probably for superstitious purposes. Ancient writers abound with accounts of marks made on the face, arms, &c., in honour of different idols; and to this the inspired penman alludes, Rev. xiii. where false worshippers are represented as receiving in their hands and in their forehead the marks of the beast. These were called stigmata stigmata among the Greeks, and to these St. Paul refers when he says, I bear about in my body the MarkS (stigmata) of the Lord Jesus; Galatians vi. 17. I have seen several cases where persons have got the figure of the cross, the Virgin Mary, &c., made on their arms, breasts, &c., the skin being first punctured, blue colouring matter rubbed in"

I remember in the TV programs of the 60`s showing newly discovered "heathen" tribes in "darkest Africa" with ear rings, nose studs body paintings & tattoos ect which are all being practiced in the 21`s century. Says something about the spiritual condition of The civilized!West! Should we next be looking for cannibalism being practiced on a large scale?

Used to be, only sailors, hoodlums, & bikers (with their groupies) had tattoos. Now it's mainstream.

It's hard to be sure, but I think this may have begun back in the 90's, when I noticed many parents allowing their young children to have face paintings. One thing leads to another, perhaps?

But this is one tattoo I think is good art: www.edintattoo.co.uk
The word has an interesting etymology.
