Toddler Lily says the f-word on upcoming 'Modern Family'
On next week’s Modern Family, toddler Lily is going to use one of the worst of George Carlin’s famous Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television.
The adopted two-and-a-half year-old character somehow picks up the profanity “f–k.” This naturally horrifies her parents, Cam and Mitchell, who in particular fear she’ll blurt it at an upcoming wedding. Lily is shown saying the word, but it’s not audible to the viewer. The episode’s title: “Little Bo Bleep.”
It might be the first time in a scripted family broadcast TV series where a child has said the f-word....

John, don't be intimidated by pietistic would-be censors of your recreational choices. It seems common for fallen men to make a big deal about doubtful matters, while utterly ignoring weightier matters of the Law.
Besides, there is even more garbage on the Internet, but that doesn't seem to stop the censorious from paying ISP fees.

You're right. I should read more. We do have the more limited cable package at our house, but this still leaves lots to be avoided. Time spent in my workshop doesn't involve much reading but it is arguably more healthy than most modern TV shows.

Even their "reality" shows are better (American Pickers, Ice Road Truckers, etc.), although there is plenty of swearing in these shows as well it's almost always bleeped-out.
