'Sexperiment:' Pastor, Wife to Spend 24 Hours in Bed on Church Roof

Ed Young

Ed and Lisa Young, founders of Texas-based Fellowship Church, will spend 24 hours in bed on the church roof next week and stream themselves discussing sex live on the Internet to encourage married couples to see firsthand the power of a healthy sex life as prescribed in their new book, Sexperiment.

Two days after their book, Sexperiment: 7 Days to Lasting Intimacy with Your Spouse, is released Tuesday, the Youngs will take part in a 24-hour “bed-in,” which will be streamed on the book’s website as they engage the audience on issues related to intimacy in marriage.

The book encourages married couples to have sex for seven straight days – a challenge that made headlines in 2008 when Pastor Young first introduced it to his church – with the promise that the “amazing results” will last far beyond the week. ...

These people are very brazenly and unashamedly shaking their fists at God as if daring to see what He can do. He may cause that roof to collapse on which they are defiling the marriage bed! "Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled but God will judge all whore-mongers."

What they should be doing is preaching and teaching about MARRIAGE and how to have a good marriage outside of the bedroom. If a marriage is good outside of the bedroom then things will fall into place INSIDE the bedroom. This exhibitionism is both unnecessary AND wrong-focused. Moreover, never in the history of Christianity have any of the great preachers of our time resorted to this sort of circus. Did we ever see Charles Spurgeon, Finney, Whitefield, or any other great preacher having to stoop to such things? Or how about the apostle Paul or Peter? Jesus? Yet marriage problems have always existed, they are not new today. This behavior is just another example of how far off the deep end American churches have gone. Like the church in the news last week that started it's own tattoo parlor. Religion that is just a business, as usual.

Sick disgusting people. Bringing sexual things into public speech destroys all beauty and sacredness of it. Only idiots think people have to learn about sexual things. If someone has a right mind and character they will act properly in PRIVATE with their wife/husband. These sick filthy heretics glory in their shame.

Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints

Just because I don't want to see or hear about your private sexual life does not mean such I have some problem. I just find it DISGUSTING to know such details about you or your wife in the same way I don't want to see your naked body. Keep your _____ to yourself behind your closed doors sicko exhibitionists. I don't even like to see people kiss in movies. Not a dam thing wrong with me for that either.

"You could quiz the average Evangelical about specific sexual issues and they'd have answers for you. But if you gave a test to the typical Evangelical church-goer about the doctrine of justification by faith, the essence of the Gospel or the atoning work of Christ -- they'd fail.

"And, in fact, those kinds of quizzes have been given to demonstrate the gross ignorance of Evangelicals when it comes to fundamental Bible doctrines [including] the Gospel. They don't understand it. And yet, we're being told again and again and again that we need more instruction on sex. And it needs to be more and more explicit all the time.

"That is worse, I think, than anything you could cite from the Middle Ages that shows the apostasy of the Roman Catholic Church.

"[Evangelicalism is] in a serious, serious state of spiritual decline. And this sort of hyper-interest in sex is about as carnal as it could be and it's pretty much the worst trend the church could foster."

Not only pagan idolatry identifies you followers of the antichrist, but also your worldly obsession with distancing yourself from Scripture in every way you can. I hope you become saved one day then you will be able to perceive the truth.

Bob Jonesism and or its baby known as IFB churches is a cultish religion and very close and very much like what this man says a poem about and how the Holy Spirit told me that my former IFB church really was all that it is saying about religion and I even remember members saying that Jesus couldn't go to our church, because he drank wine but did not get drunk, he didn't dress like an IBM salesman and he was truthful about... all other religified traditions or how Bob Jones preferrences did not have any nor at least inacurate referrences. All IFB church say they are independent we are indepedent Mormons or Ca...tholic. You can;t be independent when Bob Jones (Mason) teaches your kids, from pastors he trained, in churches he helped start and with funds going both ways. LOL Watch this. This sums up Bob Jonesism and IFB churches, same thing, but There is hope. watch think and pray & God will reveal the truth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IAhDGYlpqYSee MoreWhy I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word

Sin is powerful so-much-so that we require 100% grace and mercy for any hope of salvation.
Since we have a Jesuit in our midst, here is a heads up on Jesuit strategems used today:

Has your priest not mentioned that we live in a fallen world? That means that there is a very powerful sinful influence upon all things ecclesiastical.

Now we cannot rule out Satan himself and his influence in raising cults all over the world. So it should be no surprise that Satanic and sin filled religions such as eg: the Roman Catholic idolatrous and pagan version - will write their own books and philosophies to confound the gullible and collect the religious reprobates.

The "Elect" are a very small "Remnant" and they stick to the Truth and the Holy Spirit guides them into all Truth - Which in turn enables them to reject the idolatrous heresies and all the other "pernicious ways" (2Peter 2:2) which are peddled in this fallen world.

He's no Protestant apostate. Pastor Hammack hammers home the Five Solas. He very clearly teaches TULIP and Calvinism proper. He's a Protestant's Protestant through-and-through.

But, if he hates one thing besides sin, it's folk telling lies about another's belief system. Thus, his enrollment in a Catholic University.

God has Good News to get to you.
This Good News was recorded as various scrolls that were eventually set on a single shelf, put in a certain order and all spurious scrolls were set aside.
Later these were assembled in book form.
Then they were translated into English.
Now this book (including the OT) lies on your coffee table.
When you pick it up, read and interpret it for yourself, who's the final authority?
Who were the intermediate authorities?
Who were the initial authorities?
Lots of authority through the years, however as a Protestant, the final authority is you, is it not?
Typical of the Roman Catholics to cut God out of the picture.

Once again, you dance around the question and answer with a question. Let's try again...is the Bible THE sole and final authority for all truth for the Roman Catholic church? I am not asking how one interprets it.

Now, let's see if you can answer this as well...

The RCC is the only 'true church'? Then why does it twist God's word? I asked you before, what does Jesus mean in Matthew 23:9 when he commanded us to call no one on earth father? Also, can you give us the answer why the RCC directly violates this command by calling a mortal man 'holy father'? Defend your 'religion' using what you claim you gave us...God's word.
