Internet Evangelist Launches Attack on Glenn Beck

Bill Keller, an Internet evangelist who has been vocal about Mormonism’s cultish roots, is boldly proclaiming that Glenn Beck is “masquerading as an angel of light”—and using Christians to further his agenda and advance a cult.

Keller, founder of LivePrayer.com with its 2.4 million subscribers, has been taking public shots at Beck for the past five years. Specifically, he’s been warning people that Beck has an agenda rooted in the false beliefs of Mormonism.

"Beck has finally exposed his true motivations with the unveiling of his 'charity' and latest money-making scheme at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas next July,” Keller says. “That is to make hundreds of millions of dollars personally while helping to advance the cause of his cult that is leading the eternal souls of men to hell through their heretical beliefs." ...

1) Where do you find "bible" in the bible?

2) Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

No works? No cooporation with God to save one's soul? No personal merit required? No perfection by the deeds of the flesh? Just faith is sufficient to justify the ungodly? What ever was Paul thinking?

Obviously he and James didn't see eye to eye for it was Paul who said certain men of James bewitched Peter, Barnabas and other Jews as well as the foolish Galatians. And you have joined the ranks of the bewitched as well.

So the solution is? I know. Come home to Rome.

We must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves lest we be blown about by every wind of doctrine.

Wow! John Y., you mean you're Catholic Church has no pagan idols (oh you guys call them "saints") in your church?! Now that would be one Romish Church making progress. Yes, and your church worships the "true Mary" (Isis) also.
So, John if you accepted the Five Solas which define a Christian, i.e., "Only Scripture," "Only Christ," "Only Grace," "Only Faith," and "To God Alone Be Glory" which would make you an anathema to the Romish Church, and if you reject them you are an anathema to God.
The Romish Church has a works salvation belief in its theology, which makes it, part of the Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses gang.

Mike was correct.

In plain English you should be speaking about serial monogamy. Words carry meaning.

The serial polygamy label is a postmodern sop to the Mormon cult that says "Look, we are just the same as you, you are not so bad."

Unless someone has married multiple wives and then murdered or divorced them all and then married multiple wives again he is not a serial polygamist.

Hollywood stars and Gingrich are not engaged in serial polygamy as they only are married to one spouse and do not have multiple spouses. Polygamy means being legally married to one spouse while illegally married to another spouse or multiple spouses. And I have nothing in common with Mormons as I worship the True Jesus. Mormons worhip a False jesus and multiplicity of gods.

Everyone can now add commentary to the Bible: Check out YouVersion. It provides commentary by anyone and everyone (Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, etc) for each and every verse (all 31,103+) of the Bible. It's an idea whose time has finally arrived.

There truly is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. No more guessing at all of the dozens (or hundreds) of meanings for each verse.

Instead of wasting time arguing with Beck, Mormons, Muslims, Catholics or each other, why not sign up today to add your own excellent commentary?

Let's see how many interpretations we can get for a single verse.

Only from the minds of YouVersion™.

Well, John, I have used the term serial polygamy for Hollywood stars, and of course Gingrich would fall into the pattern of serial polygamy. Gingrich Is Inspiring—and Disturbing(Ah, get it while it's hot, WSJ articles usually are made public for a long time. )

Hmm, The Not-so Mormon Soteriology of Glenn Beck actually the last paragraph that SA excerpted from the article, '"Beck has finally exposed his true motivations with the unveiling of his 'charity' and latest money-making scheme at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas next July,” Keller says. “That is to make hundreds of millions of dollars personally while helping to advance the cause of his cult that is leading the eternal souls of men to hell through their heretical beliefs." ...' Is this much different than "real" Christians with a history of racism and serial monogamy?
"Then he pointed to a disturbing prophecy from Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, about a Mormon president that would rise in the midst of tremendous financial and social upheaval in the United States."
So if Romney becomes president, Joseph Smith was a real prophet? Interesting.
What is serial monogamy? I never knew that Joseph Smith prophesied that there would be a Mormon president of the United States. It would be better then right if Gingrich who is Catholic became president?

No, it isn't much different.

And the answer to the question posed by Easy Does It is yes. We must repent of our sins.

*Through divorce and remarriage, hasn't the trinitarian church allowed a 6 foot rip tide of serial polygamy smashing through our sanctuaries today?

This is comparable to parallel polygamy upon which Mormonism was founded -- and from which they've repented.

The largest denomination, the SBC, fell into schism (1845) to allow chaining African-Americans to plantation walls.

At least the Mormons weren't founded for this end.

Beck and the Mormons are wrong on the Trinity, Christology and world history.

However, mustn't we also repent of our own sins? Otherwise we're Christian on paper, but behaving like the world.
