71 tattooed Texas Pentecostal preachers roar up to Israel’s Wailing Wall — on Harleys!
The Western Wall
A group of tattooed Texans on a mission of solidarity roared up to Israel’s Temple Mount and joined Orthodox Jews praying Sunday night at the Western Wall — all that remains of Solomon’s Temple.
Amarillo-based motorcycle ministry that ”provides identity and connectivity for ministers and ministries of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church,” according to Director Gary Burd.
He says Mission M25 ordinarily focusses on U.S. military veterans, prison convicts and the homeless, however after riding en mass to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., several members felt they were supposed to go stand in solidarity with Israel....
I think it is important to differentiate between "moral laws" and "ceremonial" laws and levitical "dietary guidelines", both in our own edification and apologetic when witnessing or defending our faith... otherwise, we might become legalists and judaize ourselves into following the 613 mitzvot...
Jesus was the perfect sacrifice that did away with the "ceremonial law", however, the "moral" law is still in effect, i.e. the Decalogue... even though we are in a new dispensation of Grace, we are still to follow the two commandments Christ gave us... to love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and treat others accordingly...
Modern science and nutrition has proven time and again the wisdom of the "dietary laws" for health...

What I stated was what I believe, not necessarily that which is preached in my church.
I believe men should grow beards, and not mar their beards into goatees to look like those old images of the devil.
I believe it wise to be selective about our garments. Anything the Lord has killed or intends to kill people over ought to cause us to tremble.
"And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel." - Zeph 1:8
I don't find abiding by God's commands to be extreme or a burden for His commands are not grievous.
Your responses are consistent with what mockers all over do (I am not accusing you of mocking but merely taking a similar position) because Christians have created an opening for them due to our inconsistency.
Christians say you shouldn't cut and mark yourself, or man lying with man is an abomination, then the heathen respond with do you wear mixed garments, eat shellfish etc? The consistent position is we should abide by all the moral laws found in Leviticus or anywhere else in the Bible.
Wow that seems pretty extreme - I haven't heard of any churches that preach against shaving/trimming beards or hair.
You must also have to be really careful when buying your clothes - and it is a shame you cannot grow more than one thing in a vegetable garden at a time.
I don't find anything wrong with doing these things, but I thought Christ fulfilled these laws and made our burdens light.

You quite correct Rufus, and I would also mention that both the NASB and NKJV are clear that those "marks" are tattoos. However one can ask did they get those tattoos before or after they were saved? If after it just shows some of the typical
Charismatic Chaos(pick up a copy of John MacArthur's book somewhere, I'm not sure if his website has all his downloadable comments on the topic either -- when it works.
Seems like a waste of Money and time to me to go to Israel and transport all the Harleys - and on top of it - the point was to stand in Solidarity with Israel. Shouldn't the job of ministers be to preach and spread the word?
Then again many of the doctrines of the IPHC are questionable.
