‘Did not happen’
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain Tuesday emphatically denied accusations of sexual harassment, insisting he did not remember the face, name, or voice of one of his accusers who went public on Monday. Cain said he watched her on television in his hotel room and went over and over in his mind for some memory of her but could not recall knowing her.

“The charges and the accusations I absolutely reject. They simply didn’t happen,” Cain repeated at a news conference. “They simply did not happen.” ...

Herman Cain would have been a good President, not only because of his name Cain, but because Christians would have a good reason to call him Antichrist since he was CEO of godfathers pizza.

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

True, Michael, without a doubt Jewish and Christian persecution is everywhere. The news media is the biggest perpetrator. Our lord has warned us through scripture to expect it. We should always be in prayer. I was not trying to admonish you in anyway. I respect your opinion always brother. I just thought your comparison was a little over-reaching.
Barry,
Thanks for the post back. And I appreciate your counsel.

I am so burdened to be in prayer regarding the multitudes of evil going on in the world I hardly know exactly where to start.

Most likely for churches that so need to rediscover, and I have much learning and growing to do in this myself, effective fervant praying!

Something I have to thing Satan hates to see in the lives of the people of God BUT something that pleases our Father more than we can begin to know and shake a world hostile against Christ more than any army or politican ever can.

Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Again much learning and growing to do, but trusting seeing the power and glory of God in His answers are more than worth it.

Michael Hranek, I really feel that you are over reacting. To compare someone coming forward and accusing Cain of something sexual in nature and the persecution of Jews and Christians is a little ridiculous, don't you think? Maybe Cain was your guy and these allegations may hurt his presidential bid, but to make this comparison is just plan silly.
Barry from KY
I will consider what you say, still it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to observe there is an increasing hostility towards Jews and Christians in the world today and a very real hypocrisy in the News Media that is biased towards the left,

AND except for a few rare exceptions in the U.S. and West a stunning prayerlessness in churches today or in other words Worthless Prayer Meetings (6 Minute Clip)
after all It's Only a Prayer Meeting!

Things this preacher has a whole lot of learning and growing (one brother in Wales has said, 'groaning') to do but that hold wonderful promise to the child of God.

I'm a believer, though my enemies may call me a Christian if they so desire. There's a man in Jefferson City who is still harassing and threatening God's children with violence, and there are many others like him who do so daily right here in the united states.
Daniel Michael
And I would think that you and others are rightly warry of such an individual, and pray for the safety of those whom he is threatening, and his conversion as well (remember Saul of Tarsus)

Maybe even hiding his intended victims if need be such as Corrie Ten Boom did in Holland in WWII.

LL's post is telling for whatever (I hate to use the word here) reason he(assuming it is a he) handles Scripture in my words here to describe his, 'God is so sovereign let's all put our heads in the sand and play church'

Right! Just like the early church in Acts did when Peter was arrested and due to be executed.

While genuine born again Christians do not need at all to fear death, that doesn't mean we ought to throw our brains away and not pay any attention at all to the evil going on around us in the world, after all the Lord Jesus Christ told us to pray 'deliver us from evil'

False counsel to not pray so is evil and sinful.

Shame on you!
The devil goes about as a roaring lion and you want to just let him devour whomsoever he wills?

Let's see would you have stood back and piously let the Jews of German in WWII be taken to the ovens?
How about the persecuted Christians in the world today?
That's right Fox News, ABC, NBC and the WSJ and Worldmag are going to take you and all the Christians to the gas chamber because they are publicly airing charges against one man that have been brought forward by multiple witnesses.

Your argument is hysterical and ridiculous. The shame is yours. No further response to your nonsense.

And yes, if you have been doing the same things Cain has been accused of then I hope YOU ARE NEXT! If you have not, then you have nothing to fear.

When Jesus (yes, I am well aware Herman Cain is NOT Jesus)

When Jesus who was truly SINLESS, innocent of all evil was wrongly arrested the disciples abandoned Him and fled, and FALSE WITNESSES were brought forward who couldn't get their stories straight, but that didn't matter it had already been decide to put Him to death.

The hypocrisy of Herman Cain's accusors, and the (quote) reporting of the News Media including the beloved Fox News, reeks of evil, of double standard, that calls democrats good, ignoring and refusing to honestly investigate and ask real questions even if a young woman drowns in a drunken man's car and still louodly calls republicans evil, especially if they are black, (who often throw their own under the bus to appease the ungodly).

There is a reason I am urging all of us to fervently intercede for Herman Cain, his wife and family, "WE ARE NEXT" God is allowing Satan to give us a preview of what awaits those abandoning those under Satan's persecution, and here on SermonAudio there is a related News Story reporting on how pastors(?) don't want to mention persecuted Christians that ought to bring us to REPENTANCE, confession of our own sins, like neglect, and bring pastors to insist their churches meet together to pray about all these things.
