Christian hit with 40% pay cut over Facebook comments
A Christian employee of a housing association in Manchester has been demoted and had his salary slashed by 40 per cent because of his Facebook comments about same-sex civil partnerships in churches.

Adrian Smith is taking his employer, Trafford Housing Trust, to court for interference with his rights to free speech and religious liberty; and for breach of contract.

He is being supported in his legal action by The Christian Institute, a national charity that defends the religious liberty of Christians. ...

Thats the typical thinking of a brain washed Roman Catholic. The RCC being your god whilst you are on earth.
But EXO; Don't your remember what the Bible teaches is 'THE' church?

2Cor6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Oh dear this then excludes the Roman Catholics since clearly God abhors all these idols of yours.

Isa 44:9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. 10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

BTW the word here translated "vanity" can be also used for "a worthless thing"

John MacArthur stated not long ago that if homosexuality gets much worse, God will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Yikes! How common is homosexuality there?
Ella, the answers to your questions are as follows:

1. Yes
2. No
3. If Mac is saying things like that, I would advise you to stay well clear of him, and find some preacher who has more respect for The Almighty God.

Ah yes, yes indeed. And it cannot get any better except the Lord comes in revival and frightens the ungodly with his almighty presence. And I do not think that will happen now, until the second coming, and then it will be too late for anyone to repent.

As you can see on the other thread, it is not so much the world that persecutes me, but hypermen. I've rarely been to church in two years because they all seem to be going mad, bewitched, letting go of the old standards, modernising everything, yet forgetting that hell is real and folks need saving from the eternal wrath of God. Even some Christian groups in Africa put us to shame.

But if the Lord would have us move, he will motivate us to do so. To be doing his will means contentment, not necessarily happiness.

Ever thought of leaving Britain
I have thought about nothing else having spent a great deal of my life abroad. But as an old man I am stuck in this horrible Godless nation with hopefully only a few years left before I return to God for judgment. We as Christians are strangers in the UK and like Paul wish we were with Christ - not here! Persecution of Christians is growing in the UK especially now that Satan's sodomites run the countries "moral(?)" standards. Like the gentleman in this article has found, the bureaucrats and their PC Liberal stance are diametrically opposed to Bible doctrines and Christian moral standards. Perhaps God will send fire and brimstone down upon this nation soon that it may be an example to the world of how He deals with reprobates sodomites and Satans minions who run this country. In the meantime the Christian can only expect growing persecution and things seem to be getting worse and worse.

2Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds)

Well let's hope Adrian wins that court case, and sets an example.

Ever thought of leaving Britain, Brit? Or are you going to stay and grumble the rest of your life away? I'm considering it.

Bureaucracy runs Britain, not democracy, and Bureaucracy in Britain has no morals. Politicians and bureaucrats in Britain are predominantly Liberal, and serve the modern British mind set of moral corruption.

But then the national church CofE and CofS are just as Liberal and anti-Bible as these bureaucrats. This article proves how depraved and deviant Britain has become - The United Kingdom of Sodom and Gomorrah!!

Ro 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
