Talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh stunned his audience on Monday when he said that US presidential candidate Ron Paul has the right perspective in wanting to cut US$1 trillion in government spending – although the conservative talker claims he came up with the idea first.
“You’re not going to believe my answer,” Rush told a caller who asked how the Republicans can govern once they defeat President Obama next year. “Ron Paul has a good idea.”
“Ron Paul is about to show the Republican presidential field what a serious fiscal reform program looks like,” Limbaugh said, and read highlights of Paul’s plan as published in Politico....

Actually, Clinton got elected and re-elected by a morally dumbed-down populace. Then again, poor Gary Hart didn't have a wife like Hillary to salvage his immoral reputation when it was exposed by media.
Jim is right about Limbaugh's endorsement being "the kiss of death". Modern America is so sensitive and PC that anyone as well-informed, honest, and outspoken as Rush Limbaugh is likely to be widely despised.
Yes, it is really taken out of context, but it does seem to fit this secular context!

Rush's endorsement is a kiss of death, He did help get Clinton elected and re-elected, by all his attacks on him. Limbaugh is no icon to any person who can think, Our Mind & the Use of Our Gifts. Christians should have a copy of Come Let Us Reason. Most good Christian bookstores no doubt carry it.
