Republican presidential candidates stayed away from a Southern Baptist pastor's dig that Mitt Romney is not a Christian and that his Mormon religion is a "cult."
Republican candidates on the Sunday talk shows wanted nothing to do with the jab at Mormonism, a faith shared by 15 members of Congress and GOP candidate Jon Huntsman, former governor of Utah.
Perry quickly distanced himself from the cult comment but has not disassociated himself from Jeffress. Jeffress, one of several conservative evangelical pastors who spoke at Perry's prayer rally in August, has long preached that if a Christian is not elected, God will lift his favor from the USA....
You're just making your gibberish more unclear by not answering. I didn't ask if anyone should give the president some sort of respect. How is the president Caesar or a king? He is not referred to either nor does he act like it.

If you prefer a nation of men rather than a nation of laws, perhaps it is you should find a country more suitable. There are multitudinous such places where men are worshipped, or at least held to be divinely appointed by whatever false god they believe in, including themselves.

Did we obey the timeless command to respect Great Britain's leadership by warring against them? Perhaps the U.S. (as a separate nation) is "better off," but that's not the point of the Scriptures. Did our Founding Fathers obey this command?
And if they were permitted to form "a more perfect union," why couldn't the south do likewise -- with continuing legalized slavery?

One of the reasons Obama managed to get in was McCain who lacked personality on stage. Romney and Huntsman the two mormons appear to have the personality and popularity type qualities which the American voters like to see now.
