Cameron claims same-sex marriage is ‘conservative’
The Prime Minister has praised homosexual marriage in his key speech at the Conservative Party conference in Manchester yesterday.

David Cameron says he supports redefining marriage because of, not in spite of, being a Conservative.

But one critic said it may signal the end of conservatism: “If you can’t conserve the institution of marriage, what can you conserve?”

As IP address pointed out; Rome is not looking to infiltrate Independents and Arminists; they are more useful for her purposes right where they are. For there they can destroy from within their own mother's sons Ps. 50:16-22 Papal Rome recognizes her enemy from history. 'Cain's sect' has always been moved by envy to malign Abel's posterity. Historically when serpentine words could not seduce, then the old red dragon's wrath would waste. Ah But God! The end of their envious malice is sure. I'm glad you think so.

However, the only people on this planet who are able to intercede and fight spiritual battles are those who are born again by the will of God and who have been saved by faith alone in Christ alone.

Until then, the only prayer you can pray is "God be merciful (propitious) to me, a sinner." Go to it, and "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" and thou shalt be saved.

Prayer is essential for all oppressed and effected by this wickedness.

The word "Presbyterian" is now so infected by scandalous sex-sin enshrined as doctrine by the vast up-line parent denominations that, within 5 years, even the PCA and OPC must either change their names (e.g., Orthodox Knox Church) or capitulate to this evil.

The Presbyterian brand is not just tarnished but dead. Eventually the PCA and OPC will recognize this sad state of affairs.

How did these once august elect bodies backslide to this evil state? Surely it wasn't so simple as merely "neglecting" the Bible.

Perhaps the question arises from the wrong idea that there is such a thing as august elect denominational bodies.

Either this
1. Concerns you deeply, so that you pray for all those who proclaim Christ alone as the only way of salvation through faith alone.....or

2. You see in all this a slight possibility of gaining proselytes to your cult, so that they may come under the bondage of a works salvation....

I guess we may as well forget the first possibility.

So regarding the second one, I suggest that while you are here on site, you might have a listen to several sermons by Dr Peter Masters on the person of the Lord Jesus Christ - his teaching, his works, his salvation, his incarnation, his cross, his resurrection, his ascension, his coming again for his elect. Simply do a search by preacher, and check out any sermons on the four gospels. You will find that you have been misinformed concerning the wonderful Saviour of sinners, and his approachableness. Jesus is NOT a concept, but a real, living, loving person who is God. And you can find him tonight, and be saved (definitely) for eternity.

Actually there are still decent reformed members in the CofS who are Christian!
What are they doing there?
They are fighting for the Kirk and contending for the faith.

Yes the CofS is going down the tubes and Satan is winning at this moment in time. However there are not many denominations which are quote "winning" just now especially in Scotland. The disease of satanic Liberalism is poisoning the whole country.

Now whilst we are belabouring the point what about the Roman Catholic organisation? Hows the unBiblical idolatry these days, IP. You still worshipping ancient dead bodies and bits of ancient dead bodies? Are you still blaspheming Christ with the mass? Are you still blaspheming Christ with silly ideas such as co-redemtrix. Are you still provoking God with the worship of dead sinners which you have promoted to divinity? Are you still doing unBiblical practices such as confessing to evil hearted sinners like your self?

BTW Are there any people actually saved in your outfit or is it still just the famous historic home of pagan idolatry etc?

"(2.) After 1930, eventually most married Christians....

If so, how is this incorrect?

The term "Christian" means a follower of Jesus Christ, therfore one of God's elect by Faith in Christ.

The Christian "elect" of God, live by faith in the providence of God. Their marriage is a true marriage ordained of God. They live also by faith in Sola Scriptura. God's providence and the Holy Spirit's indwelling guidance direct and guide them in the life God has provided, in love, mercy obedience and wisdom.

The broad generalisation of your statement does not and cannot cover the true Christian. Since you are from the false religion of Roman Catholic you will not be able to glean honest stats about the true followers of Christ.

ON Roman Catholic religion ...
2Tm 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

And
2Thes 2:10 ... because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie:"

My first question could be "What planet are you from?" But then I realise that you come from Vaticano Romano Cattolica, which of course is light years away from real Christianity. Hence the reasoning behind your hypothesis!!!

Cameron's claims, on the oxymoron termed "same.sex.marriage" are just as disparate and distanced from Scripture and historic moral standards simply because he is a reprobate bound for hell.

Yet curiously that puts you both on the same path? Regardless of your conjectures.

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

But historically speaking, its really not a huge leap at all.

Margaret Sanger was....birth control and abortion.

Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist. She was also a racist.

Its the same thing as Darwinism. The father of eugenics was Darwin's cousin. This is the same movement.

An African (Pygmy) man was put in a zoo (how awful!) during that time when Darwinism dominated science (pre-genome sequencing) and they began "measurng the races" to establish that "white" people supposedly evolved last (being "superior"), which is where we get Hitler's freaky aryian millenial kingdom and Margaret Sanger---same generation.

Most contraception is actually contra-implantation.....this would be a more honest description.

I have said all these things before on here. In Darwinism, there is no moral objection to anything that blasphemes the sacred. It has been a slippery slope of gradually changing shock to acceptance by enough numbers of people that they can push things through. This Darwinism was also used for the rise of communism in China--families split up.

Not to be crass, but being specific about the sin progression...

(1.) Before 1930, married Christians were open to children when they made l*ve v*ginally.
(2.) After 1930, eventually most married Christians took contraceptives/were sterilized and no longer open to children when they made l*ve v*ginally.
(3.) Then in the 1960s, many married Christians felt comfortable "experimenting" with s*domy (i.e., rect*l intercourse).
(4.) Once marital s*domy was okay, then this coupled with massive divorce led to an ex-husband and his buddy "experimenting" with s*domy.
(Let's be honest, (3.) and (4.) are not too different.)
(5.) Repeat steps (2.) & (3.) vast millions of times without a word from our pastors and, eventually, in a twisted and perverse way, (4.) becomes perceived as a "conservative" (i.e., liberty) plank in the Conservative (Republican) party.

Once openness to children was unnecessary (Circa 1930), married Christians fell headlong down a slippery-slope culminating in "same-sex-marriage" since (as you say) it, too, is just another form of contraception.

Perhaps the historic evidence goes a little further back than that IP.

I don't think that David Cameron was around in 600BC, in fact the Conservative party was pretty sparse too. Even the UK cannot proclaim too much political activity back then.

However...
"600 B.C.
Greek colonists found Celene in North Africa. Soon after, they discover a great treasure: Silphion, reputedly the first oral contraceptive. Silphion was an herb -- thought to be a kind of giant fennel -- that grew only in the area now known as Libya. Despite heroic efforts, it could not be cultivated. Worth its weight in silver, silphion was harvested to extinction by 100 A.D." (medicinenet.com)

But your jump from contraception to "same-sex-marriage" is somewhat vague to say the least. After all "same-sex-marriage" is a form of contraception anyway.

The "1930 (CofE) Lambeth Conference" first approved the use of contraception.

Modern application:
Contraception is a luster and sterilization a perverter; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.

UK conservative leaders are now so led astray by these that they consider same-sex marriage "conservative."

"In seeking to re-define marriage David Cameron may have kept the coalition happy, but may also have signalled the end of conservatism."

The disease and poison of Liberalism is endemic in the politicians of the world. Cameron like Obama wants votes and does not care about morals or for that matter conservatism. Its almost as if they think they are doing the nation and society a big favour in justifying homosexual perversion.

These politicians are no friend or ally to the cause of Christ, they are no follower of the Word of God. Their enmity towards God is stark and glaringly obvious today.

Nations which are so evil that they murder the unborn infant cannot be in touch with the reality of God and Christ. Satan is the real leader of the Conservative party and his politics are always going to be the opposite of Scripture. In the UK today we are becoming more obviously a Remnant, when even the national church chooses lust over the Bible.

May God have mercy upon these islands and revive His church or we are destined for the pit.

Dan 9:5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets"
