Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and former CEO who invented and masterfully marketed ever-sleeker gadgets that transformed everyday technology, from the personal computer to the iPod and iPhone, has died. He was 56.
Apple announced his death without giving a specific cause. He had been battling pancreatic cancer.
A famous --conservative-- Jewish commentator had this to say about Steve Job's parents.
Dennis Prager wrote: In fact, as far as Steve Jobs himself was concerned, his only parents were Paul and Clara Jobs. As The New York Times reported nearly 15 years ago ("Creating Jobs," January 12, 1997), "Jobs holds a firm belief that Paul and Clara Jobs were his true parents. A mention of his 'adoptive parents' is quickly cut off. 'They were my parents,' he says emphatically."
I had a well-known professor for Spanish when I was a Freshman in university. His name was Roberto Esquenazi y Mayo as I believed he had his last name then.
Naturally brilliant, polite, highly educated (kind to people who were never going to speak Spanish well ) and if memory serves from a newspaper article probably a good Catholic. Now this famous refugee from the Cuban Revolution, who had been an editor of Look Magazine in Cuba. A gentlemen in the true sense of the word.
Now, I didn't think of then, but you can tell that he had Jewish heritage, way back sometime from just looking at his last name. But why don't I think your Jewish? I don't see anything you have in common with him, except I think you're still Catholic.
But if Steve Jobs was of Jewish descent, but apparently the following isn't important to you?

Not only Jobs had nothing to do with his biological father, but this guy's biological daughter wrote a scathing novel based on him, and also wants nothing to do with him.
