Pat Robertson: Mitt Romney an 'Outstanding Christian'
In an interview published Saturday to mark 50 years of Christian Broadcasting Network, Chairman Pat Robertson said he liked Mitt Romney’s politics and saw the Mormon presidential candidate as an “outstanding Christian.”
Although many evangelicals are skeptical of the Mormon faith’s claim to Christianity, Robertson called former Massachusetts Governor Romney an “outstanding Christian” in an interview with The Associated Press.
But when asked if he was alright with a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the White House, the 81-year-old head of the television network refused to answer....
What Robertson stated about Romney being a Christian goes against Baptist teaching on what a Christian is. Romney is not a Christian because Romney is a Mormon and Mormons do not believe in the Deity of Jesus and the Holy Trinity.
"Because humanity is what it is, because we're such selfish, easily corruptible beings, the American system doesn't work. The Constitution doesn't work. Replace everyone in Washington with "decent folks" like you and me. Shrink the size of the federal government to what it was 200 years ago. Start completely over, and we'd eventually find ourselves in this exact same predicament.
"The answer then is not to reform this failed, evil system. The answer is to abolish it. Decentralize, get rid of the Constitution, at the very least return to the Articles of Confederation.
"And this is why I don't vote. Because voting just grants legitimacy to the slave masters and their wicked system. By voting, we give them the right to claim that they're just doing our will. Representative democracy and all that [bullstuff].
"It's time to stop playing their game. It's time to do all we can to undermine their tyranny and fight for liberty."

I was only commenting below on the false comment by Pat Robertson stating Mitt Romney worshiped the same Triune God as Christians. Mormon teachings are about a god the father who was a man and earned his way to godhood. Check it out online or in their scriptures. Do most Christians care...I have found they do not. I now think we will be blessed if we can elect a wise, moral, honest man as President. We must pray for wisdom and God's mercy upon us.

I second Mike's take on having to win this election... there are days when it seems like just about any random name from the phone book would be an improvement over the leader of the current regime.
