Pope: Catholics Cannot Accept Gay Marriage
Pope Benedict XVI called for a common front with Christians to defend traditional church values and shun“lukewarm” faith during a speech to 30,000 young people in his homeland of Germany Saturday. AP reports that the 84-year-old pope warned of threats posed by abortion and gay marriage, and declared in a separate meeting with Orthodox Christians that religion must not be banished from public life. The Pope said that christian churches “are walking side by side” in the battle.

“They speak up jointly for the protection of human life from conception to natural death,” he told the meeting of Orthodox Christians on the third day of his visit.

“Knowing, too, the value of family and marriage, we as Christians attach great importance to defending the integrity and the uniqueness of marriage between one man and one woman from any kind of misinterpretation,” he said. “Here the common engagement of ...

Since Roman Catholics and homosexuals are both bound for hell, perhaps they should try to get along whilst they are here.

The Roman Catholics sins of false religion, idolatry and the worship of relics, blasphemy and paedophilia is unBiblical and rejection of the laws and doctrines of God.

The homosexual is described by God as an abomination, deserves death and is unnatural. Lev 20:13 "...both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death..."

Gal 5:19 Now the WORKS OF THE FLESH are manifest, which are these; Adultery, FORNICATION, UNCLEANNESS, LASCIVIOUSNESS, 20 IDOLATRY, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Just look at the nest of evil sins where you find the Roman Catholic religious Tradition of idolatry!!

Ex 20:4 "Thou SHALT NOT make unto thee ANY GRAVEN IMAGE, or ANY LIKENESS of ANY THING that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God"

Well, as I pointed out before His Unholiness B-16 isn't wrong all the time,
"Pope Benedict XVI said,

Stressing that they were not his own words, he quoted Emperor Manual II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire, the Orthodox Christian empire which had its capital in what is now the Turkish city of Istanbul."

Emperor Manual II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire wrote:
Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.
However, just because someone like the Pharisaical people in the first churches may have had a lot in common with Christians, Paul still declared them an anathema. Listen to, Confronting Compromise of the Gospel. The enemy of my enemy one can have kindly thoughts about, but it doesn't make them are bosom buddies.

In this day and age of global antinomianism, no matter your stripe, you gotta hand it to him, the man has guts and speaks the truth. What other Christian leader has the global pulpit to speak the truth? Orthodox? No. Protestants? No*.

* Exception: Joel Osteen who may or may not be crystal-clear on these issues.
