More than 100 Christians Killed in Nigeria’s Plateau State
A rash of attacks by armed Muslim extremists on villages in Nigeria’s Plateau state in the past month have left more than 100 Christians dead, including the elimination of entire families, sources said.

In a guerilla-type “hit and run” attack on the Christian community of Vwang Kogot, Muslim attackers at about 8 p.m. on Sept. 9 killed 14 Christians, including a pregnant woman. Survivors of the attack told Compass that the assailants raided the village with the aid of men in military uniforms of the Nigerian Army.

Many of the victims were members of a single family surnamed Danboyi. ...

All I was thinking of was the number of people, including our current and past president, saying that Islam is misunderstood and is a religion of peace (though I know this is complete B.S.).

Nigeria is going through perseuction, no doubt--we need to pray for these beloved believers!

Religion of peace? Wores with a million dead in Iraq, or hundreds of thousands with "conservative statistics".

At least 50 dead girls from the guardee alone.

Have you seen the statistics of death at the border between Mex and US? Gruesome beheadings!

Talk about culture of death!

Neocons (in contrast to true conservatism) better start rethinking what "religion of peace" is, because they don't got it either. They just hire out to carry out their plans.

Jpw, I am not going by any statistics, just a claim made by some.

Don, if you are going to go by death statistics to measure the morality of a people, you better look closer at the stastistics.
