President Obama is "ramping up his 'God talk' for the re-election campaign," says political scientist John Green, director of the University of Akron's Bliss Institute of Applied Politics.
But Green and two other experts who track religious rhetoric in presidential politics speculate this strategy to connect with evangelical voters may not work for Obama.

Michael I hear what you are saying but I wonder if in fact Obama's 'win' of another four years is what Satan wants. Therefore reprobates being in the majority, will this be another four years of Liberalism and moral declension? Will Satan win this election for Obama, judging by the way things are currently going?
The "christian(?) strategy" of Obama and the Democrats are just a political ploy to the real Christians, whereas the nominals, eg Liberals who have recently come onboard with the likes of "same-sex" marriage etc, they are easily led into religio-politico nonsense. Thus we end up in the numbers game!
Where is America today in terms of Christian convictions? We often hear a very negative answer to that question. If the church is in decline will the Democrats win because Christian values are in the minority? And the Republicans don't seem to be able to rustle up a credible candidate?

While Obama might desire to exploit all the gullible people he might in his service to the Devil it would seem he is out to decieve and confuse people and Masquerade as being righteous and caring to further Satan's democratic party regime whether or not he is conscienously doing so.
