NPR Lets Abortion Lobby Call Pro-Lifers Potential Terrorists
On Thursday’s Morning Edition, NPR’s touted the Obama administration’s “more aggressive legal approach” towards pro-life demonstrators with the stepped-up prosecution of alleged violations of the controversial FACE Act. Correspondent Carrie Johnson highlighted the prosecution of an elderly pro-lifer, and let an abortion lobbyist denigrate pro-lifers as possible terrorists.

Host Steve Inskeep introduced Johnson’s report with slanted language about how “the fight over abortion rights continues in courtrooms and state houses all over this country. But a smaller-scale version of that conflict is on display almost every day between protesters and escorts at abortion clinics. And some of those tensions are on the rise, as the Obama administration takes a more aggressive legal approach against people who block access to clinics.”

The correspondent then introduced Dick Retta, a pro-lifer who is a ...

Pro-lifers are potential terrorists? Hmmm. Seems contradictory somehow. I thought those who attack and kill the defenseless were the terrorists. Like those who kill the unborn.

Dear ENT,
I am a pro-life activist who has tried to talk parents out of killing their preborn babies at "abortion" mills (which are really child-killing places) and I am not a terrorist unless it be to Satan and his dirty works. In fact most pro-life activists at the abortion mills are moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas who just want to stop the bloodshed and help hurting people by pointing them to Jesus Christ. So thank you for your comment as it has helped motivate me to get back out on the sidewalk in front of planned barrenhood.

Isn't NPR referring to those who are anti-abortion?

Pro-life is this: A friend has 10 siblings. He's also one of over 150 cousins.

Pro-life and anti-abortion are often very different categories.

The former is blessed whose quiver is full, leads a quiet life, works with their hands and minds their own business. Never heard of "terrorists" in this camp.

The latter are known as activists some of whom have used lethal force in an attempt to end abortion. Perhaps these are the few "terrorists" to which NPR refers.

Isaiah 8:11-13 "For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread." Should Protestants confederate with the Romanists in either institution for a worthy cause? Is it true that if the cause is righteous then a confederation with God's enemies is okay?
2 Chron.19:1-3 "And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem. And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD." Psalm 37:39-40 "But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him."

When I think of tiny and helpless Jack and read this article on the killing of the unborn child - I can hardly believe that a normal decent human being could possible do such a heinous crime.
Sin is a powerful evil dominion in which man finds himself in bondage to.
God help us.
God bless Jack.
Thanks for sharing that; what a beautiful and personal story! Yes, if we could only see sin as God sees it, we would all probably be shocked; even those that are saved by His grace and mercy!
