Duke prof.: American's religious faith waning

Despite the prominence of religious believers in politics and culture, America has shrinking congregations, growing dissatisfaction with religious leaders and more people who do not think about faith, according to a new study by a Duke University expert.

Seeker friendly liberal churches all entered into apostasy in the same way. They simply started by compromising Christâ€™s teachings for what they called the greater good. Once they did this, the greater good represented Christâ€™s teachings instead of Christâ€™s teachings representing the greater good. They substituted the Messiah who suffered and died on a cross to redeem mankind from sin for unity, peace, kindness, love and morals in general. Christ did not die on the cross to make men moral, He died to save them out of their immorality. These churches got it backwards and they canâ€™t figure it out. Luke 19:10 â€œFor the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.â€
