The Church Of Christ does not require its ministers to have gone to seminary but it encourages seminary degree for its ministers. Country Music legend Loretta Lynn who was raised in the Church Of Christ in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky stated in her biographical book titled "Coal Miner's Daughter" that sometimes when the minister of that Church Of Christ was absent a member of the congregation who did not have a seminary degree led the worship services and preached.

You will note there is no "United" in front of the title for this church, so liberalism as most evangelicals would interpret it would not apply to this group, q.v. However, bad theology in the beginning usually leads to even worse theology later.

At a time when youth and child workers are going through loads of security checks it has to be someone who calls themselves "church" who puts out an advert like this. Perhaps one of the Roman Catholic paedophile priests can apply. These sound like the usual misguided Liberal 'be nice be nice be nice' religion people.
How can a person lead when they have no Bilical education? I don't believe a person has to have a degree to teach out preach, but a person has to be firmly grounded in the Word of God to lead others.
