16,000 attend the grand opening of Joel Olsteen's new Lakewood Church, including Texas Gov. Rick Perry

The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) reports that Lakewood recently became the first church in the United States to average more than 30,000 worshipers weekly, and estimates that over seven million tune-in weekly to listen to Osteen's message.
The church recently moved to the Houston Compaq Center, which has a seating capacity of 16,000. The facility was filled to capacity on July 19 during the grand opening, broadcast by TBN....

Yup. Also campaigned for the globalist Al Gore. Worked tirelessly for foreign corporations such as Cintra's TransTexasCorridor. Loves Merck and Gardasil and doesn't mind if young girls die if it means $$ in the pocket. Texas spending has gone up significantly during his tenure and Texas debt has doubled. Further, he has raised taxes/fees during his time in office. I guess because he owns a gun and is opposed to abortion he is somehow considered "conservative" by some.
Now, I find it hard to believe that a conservative politician would attend a heretical church which obviously lends credence to Joel's ministry. I wonder how many people who have somehow linked conservatism with Christianity are shocked by this? Of course I am being sarcastic.
