Atheists Storm Calif. Bus Shelters with 'No God' Ads
A local atheist group has erected ad panels on 30 bus shelters across Orange County encouraging commuters to doubt the Bible and God.

Backyard Skeptics, the group behind the $8,000 campaign, boasts on its website that it has put up 30 bus-shelter ads from Anaheim to Mission Viejo. One outside a Target shopping center at Euclid Street carries a picture of the Holy Bible with the slogan, ‚ÄúHave Doubts? So Do We,‚ÄĚ written underneath.

The campaign is aimed at letting other nonbelievers know ‚Äúthere is a community of non-theists who share the idea that we can be good without God,‚ÄĚ The Orange County Register quoted Backyard Skeptics director Bruce Gleason as saying. ...

John,

Many years before our Heavenly Fathers Grace touched my life I was a hard bitten communist and probably fell into what you would characterise as deranged etc.
My dear brother, surely this is a time to display our love for the lost. Not to assasinate there character/personality because they hold a sadly misguided view.
Now if you are correct and these folks are indeed phsycotic etc do you think they are beyond the Fathers love? If so then you certainly believe in a different God than me.
God Bless
No I do not believe that atheists are beyond the Fathers love or beyond salvation. The only unpardonable sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit. But logical and cosmological evidence proves that God exists. And anybody who is capable of logical and analytical thinking would not be an atheist. Only someone who is delusional and incapable of logical and analytical thinking is an atheist.

Whether folk are active or passive in their stance against God and Christianity, only means that they are in need of of Christ in their lives.
As for "Christians taking a stand" may I with humility say, that rather than take a stand, we "take to our knees in prayer for them.

I can state that atheists are mentally deranged, psychotic and delusional because logical and cosmological evidence proves that the God of the Bible is real and governs the universe. Only someone who is mentally deranged, psychotic and delusional would deny the logical and cosmological evidence for God.

Hughie, I couldnt have said it better. Prayer is indeed a better answer. I wish I had realized that earlier.

I see this as a great opportunity to discuss what we believe and why. Surely it's better to have people asking questions and examining their belief system than hiding their heads in the sand. Get your thinking caps on and ask the Holy Spirit to make you ready to tell the reason for your hope.

I meant to say in my earlier post,

A few years ago there was an active campaign with posters at bus stops, full size posters along the sides of buses asserting in bold letters "THERE IS NO GOD"
One bus driver that I am aware of, a Christian, lost his job because he refused to drive a vehicle with the offending poster on it......

My point is, our Heavenly Father has seen it and heard it all before,I am confident he desires his children here on planet earth to pray for those that offend.... Until our Saviour returns we shall be faced with more offensive characters, none of whom are beyond Gods' love

"... letting other nonbelievers know “there is a community of non-theists who share the idea that we can be good without God"

Satan and sin are doing a great job of blinding these reprobates. It is sad to say that they will spend a very long eternity regretting their lives of ignorance and hate.

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."

Matt 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

The atheists say you can be good without God. But then who defines what 'good' is? Evolution is an amoral theory, it knows neither 'good' nor 'evil'.

Maybe what the atheists really mean is that you can obey your God-given conscience without believing in God.
