President Barack Obama took his family to services on Sunday, walking out of the White House and to a nearby church frequented by presidents.
Accompanied by his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia, Obama walked through Lafayette Square to attend the 10:30 morning service at St. John's Church.
This is a sign of THE END, if I compare this news story to the many times I've heard from conservatives of all religions about how nefarious this guy is. Of course, some will say, yeah, but look at the church--it's not exactly a Beacon of Gospel Truth in DC, is it? The Unitarioan/Universalists call their places churches, so when someone says "I go to church" that doesn't mean much.
I think its both funny and sad that President Obama went to church. Now folks this man is so against what we as christians stand for. He supports gay marriage , abortion and he still refuses to say Jesus is the only way. He also defends the Islam faith he still says that there is no hell. This man has more people working with him that he appointed that are socialist and communist. He remains silent on the slaugter of chrkstians. I know he will get many votes again because of his circus side show of going to church. I am judging unfairly I am going by documented fact. I just hope and pray america sees whos side Obama is on remember Satan sits in lots of churches and even stands at the pulpit spewing feel good tickle your ears babble.
As a Christian I would never associate myself with "evangelicals" unless they started behaving like a Christian after becoming one. This outright racism disguised as love for God and country is sickening and God is in no fooled by this. You people need to think about who it is you are actually serving. God or Satan?

Ah, it is nice sometimes that PBS often repeats its shows, such "Rick Steve's Europe." When he talked to the Canon of the York Cathedral, The Canon said the Anglican Church set on three legs (like a three-legged stool?), "The Bible, Reason, and Tradition." Since that church and it's American branch has sawed off the Bible as support, they have no save support to sit upon. "Only Scripture," "Only Christ," "Only Grace," "Only Faith," and "To God Alone Be Glory"

Not when you are running for office and have an image to improve. Besides, it's an Episcopal church. There isn't much likelihood of his conscience being pricked in such a safe surround, is there?

I'm sure you and your family members aren't pro: homosexuality, abortion, feminism, pluralism, etc, regardless of how they feel they should worship, so your comment is somewhat confusing. There can be no positive spin for Obama's spiritual walk and where and how he worships. For certain is he has reinvented a Christ that he feels comfortable with. Luke 6:46"Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?
Likely so, though I can't see his heart.
Since St. John's Episcopal Church's denomination ordains openly gay bishops, perhaps their souls would be safer when the current (or any future) President stays home, watches Christian sermons with his family or reads the Bible.
Then during campaign season he can meet and greet in the pews as required.

I agree fully Adam. It is simply a political move. Thanks for your comment!
