Pelosi: Obama Has More Patience Than Biblical Job
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that President Barack Obama has shown a “level of patience” in debt limit negotiations with congressional leaders that does not compare to the biblical figure Job, known as the “Man of Patience.”

“I want to commend the president – I have never seen – Job is no place compared to this president in terms of patience,” said Pelosi at a press briefing on Thursday. “He [Job] doesn’t even begin because this president has demonstrated a level of patience, not only during the meetings but as respect, respectful of the suggestions that are made by all parties at the meeting, in his preparation for the meeting, and his coming back to address concerns that are expressed by others.” ...

You should have judged yourself.
Jeus told us that we (His disciples) would know them (false disciples) by their fruit.

Since you choose the moniker "Bibliophile" that would be a good place to start, as Jesus said My sheep hear My voice and follow Me.

With RCs follow to what?
Idolatry? a heinous evil sin (get this) The Bible, God's Holy Written Word repeated condemns, a sin of those who hate Him.

Lying? a sin The Bible, God's Holy Written Word tells us that God hates. For example lying that Mary is a perpetual virgin) when Scripture commands intimate marital relations between a husband and wife (or the "marriage" would be a farce and the couple would be depriving each other of their maritial right, giving place for the devil to tempt them into sin), evidenced in Mary's and Joseph's obedience in that they had sons and daughters.

Of course the RCC's twisted views on human sexuality and marriage have borne all sorts of painful and wicked fruit (ruin) in the lives of its own people.

Now since you claim to be radically saved interpret for us how the RCC doesn't even get who God is right in CCC 841

Interesting that you judge me based upon your interpretations of the Bible.

Why do your interpretations make me damned and you saved?

Suppose another chap arrives and says that according to his interpretation of his Bible, he and I are saved but you are damned?

Who would decide which position is correct?

Or is it every man for himself? Surely you're saved but with enough Bible reading and dialogue you come to realize that almost everyone else is damned?

The point I was making is that Mr. Obama never has nor never will have the patience of Job.Long before he has to sit in ashes, he will sell his soul, if he hasn't already.

Please wake up. If RCs KNEW the Bible so well they ought have thrown John Paul II out on his ear for kissing the Quran, and while they were at it they could have done the same with pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Pelosi as well.
Of course KNOWING the Bible has something to due with Biblical Obedience and that would go quite against the ungodly Traditions and Idolatry of the RCC, something you have apparently turned and very blind eye to. Why is that?
Could it be that you are not as "radically saved" as you want others to imagine you are?
Good comment as usual Michael. No this fellow does not know that he wasn't radically saved. But many will erroneously call Him Lord Lord on judgment day; perhaps even this poor fellow, but I hope not. The real issue will ultimately be whether the Lord knows him and doesn't say depart from me ... Oh and the Pope or Mary will not vouch for him or intercede on his behalf.

Pelosi is out of touch with reality because she is a liberal. But I repeat myself.

Well, It Looks Like "bibliophile" & priestly "pedphiles" Have ONE Thing In Common:

THEY'RE BOTH MEMBERS OF THE SATANIC+VATICANIST ROMAN-"CATHOLIC" CULT OF POPISH "JESUITIC" VATICANISM:

aka ROMAN-"CATHOLICISM" !

"Dear Roman-'Catholics':

'But When Ye Pray, Use NOT Vain Repetitions, As The HEATHEN Do: For They THINK That They Shall Be Heard For Their MUCH SPEAKING.' (Matthew 6:7)

'And Call NO MAN Father Upon THE EARTH: For ONE Is Your FATHER, Which Is IN HEAVEN.' (Matthew 23:9)

'By The Which Will We Are Sanctified Through The Offering Of The Body Of JESUS CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL.

And Every (Roman-"Catholic") Priest Standeth Daily Ministering And Offering Oftentimes The Same Sacrifices (i.e. The "MASS") Which Can NEVER Take Away Sins:

BUT THIS MAN (JESUS), AFTER HE HAD OFFERED ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR EVER, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD;

FROM HENCEFORTH EXPECTING TILL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE HIS FOOT STOOL.

FOR BY ONE OFFERING HE HATH PERFECTED FOR EVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED (& SAVED).' [HEBREWS 10:10-14]

Biblio, have you answered Bro Michael Hranek's point that the CCC does not seem to know who God is?

Lets not make this a battle between denominations. The bottom line is it was a foolish thing to say. It makes no difference what denominational she attends.

As a radically saved Christian, former member of the SBC and PCA, and convert into the Roman Catholic Church, I can attest that Catholics know the Bible.

If you have a Reformation or John MacArthur Study Bible we have the CCC and our Bible. What's the difference? You have your commentary on various verses. You also have the Bible Answer Man.

Catholics have a vast commentary, the CCC, that spans the biblical doctrine gamut.

Of course there are some (self-excommunicated) Catholics (e.g., Pelosi) who is unlikely to bother reading the Holy Writ -- the precious Word of God.

It's a pity that Catholics know of the Bible, but don't know the Bible.
James G. McCarthy wrote:
After two years of going nowhere, we became hopeful when the parish hired a new director of adult religious education with a post-graduate degree in theology from the University of Notre Dame. He announced that we were going to study the book of Job. The evening of the first class, however, he made a confession. "I have to admit," he said. "I don’t know why the book of Job is in the Bible. In my preparation for this course, I didn’t get much out of it. But we’re going to study it anyway and see what happens."

Job lost EVERYTHING, including his kids.

What has Obama lost? Do he and his people fear the loss of his re-election and their political power that much?

This is just an incredibly foolish comment from an incredibly foolish woman.

Good comment Garrett, however, considering there where "christians" in america calling for prayer of President Obama's death a few years back, and supported by several readers on SA, I'd say it is rather mild.
