Assemblies of God Growing Faster than U.S. Population
The Assemblies of God, one of the largest Pentecostal denominations, is growing faster than the U.S. population.
AG reported that its U.S. adherents increased four percent in 2010, which is several times higher than the U.S. population growth rate, which is about one percent a year. Adherents of the Assemblies of God USA have surpassed three million followers, 3,030,944 to be exact, in 2010.
This is the largest annual percentage increase since 1983, according to AG records.

It seems that Jimmy Swiggart was a pastor in the AG, until has actions finally became so bad, that they did kick him out the denomination, but for all too many years, his comments were supported by the AG--and they weren't Christian.
Jim, I agree with your comment. But I would add their movement began with heresy, therefore their foundation is faulty. Whatever took place in 1914 was not a movement of the Holy Spirit!

Respectfully and with thanks to God our father, the AG community is one of the best that I have had the privilege to learn from, teacher within, find revelation through the Word and ultimately give my life to the Lord. The missionaries, pastors and AG administration have passionate hearts to serve God and Shepard their flocks. When times are tough, people continue to give their tithes and worship the Lord. May the AG continue to see growth in numbers and the lost find an eternal relationship through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
