On Wednesday, Washington Post sports columnist Mike Wise championed a "very gay spring" in sports and an interview he did on the radio with former NBA star Charles Barkley, complete with the headline "Sir Charles champions a noble cause: tolerance." If "tolerance" is being taught, "Bible-thumpers" are being bashed. This is how the column ended:
"We gossiped behind each other’s back before; I’ll be the first to admit that," he [Barkley] said, before adding, "The first people who whine and complain is them Bible-thumpers, who are supposed to be non-judgmental, who rail against them. Hey, man, I don’t worry about what other people do."
In this ever open-minded May, amen to that.

Rejecting god and those that follow the bible is setting up a Jhn 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Jhn 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Nuh! God is not racist....
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
We should never be confused or mislead by the terms the homosexual movement and others use to say Christians are hateful, not loving - not Christ-like.
Here is their subtle deception. They say they want Christians to tolerate whatever behavior is in question, but what they really want is for Christians to "accept" their behavior. I can be tolerant and still speak out against something. Jesus was tolerant, but did He not speak out against sin. He was never accepting of sin.
When I accept something, I don't speak out against it and I actually do or say things that assist it. This is what Charles and others really want even if he isn't aware of it. See definitins below.
Toleration - the practice of allowing someone to do something that you do not like or approve of
Acceptance - general agreement that something is true, reasonable, or cannot be changed.

"truth is always judgmental because truth claims to be truth and everything else false." -Tremor Hammack I don't understand.. they can't " tolerate" us "bible thumpers" while they expect us to tolerate their sinful behavior. They need Jesus... end of story.
"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24).
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (I Peter 4:17).
Christians are not exempt from making judgments. I don't know if Charles Barkley claims to be a Christian or not, but his ignorance of God's Word is definitely showing.
