Interesting book to choose. Deuteronomy the three sermons of Moses preached as they were on the verge of entering Canaan. There of course they "removed" the inhabitants by annihilation to take over their lands and property.

It would seem to me, to properly apply the text in Deuteronomy it would need to be coming from a nation who themselves were under the King in Jeshurun or One greater than Moses, even the Kingship of Jesus Christ. He is the NT Church's King and Head and who should be the Prophet, Priest and King of their brother, who is prepared by God,to like David rule in the fear of God, to lead his people Israel, with a heart after God.
