USB stick-sized computer runs web, email, costs $25
Renowned U.K. game developer David Braben set his game programming aside for a short while to create an amazingly affordable personal computer that he hopes will prompt an overhaul of computer education programs. The mini PC, called the Raspberry Pi, is no bigger than a standard USB memory stick, and runs a version of Linux, an open-source operating system.

See you are Still using Every thread to post aginst the AV Jim.
I see someone called your bible the [N]ebraska [A]nglican [S]impleton [B]ible. Maybee a bit sarcastic, but at least they show more creativity than you do.

On the contrary, I believe that Christianity and the whole counsel of God needs to be explained in language people can understand.
But that doesn't mean supplying the Bible in language the people understand, does it?
"There are none that understandeth..."
Besides which, why spend forty minutes explaining what a text in the NASB means to saints and sinners, when an AV man could explain the same text in thirty minutes.
And if the preacher is Scottish, you'll need to hear thirty minutes to an hour of warm up before the sermon, or you'll never grasp a word of it.
Why, John, why not use the superior American spelling system as well? You know Savior not Saviour, center instead centre.
But John, this is why we support modern versions, not only because they much more accurately translated than the AV, but--
1 Corinthians 14:9 So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech that is clear, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. 1 Corintians 14:11 If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me.---NASB
Those are some of the very same verses that the AV translators used to justify the AV.
Anyway, John, get with it, you got to learn the jargon of computers (and of course as you expect non-Christians to understand Bible jargon, I expect you to understand computerese!)

Mmmmmm, sounds a bit like learning a lot of new things when a person gets true religion. No problem to those who really want to learn about the Lord Jesus Christ their Saviour, who has done so much for them.

Using Virtual Box, on a dual core and the various linuxes on a dual-core or greater are so fast that you can do streaming video etc. Windows 7 just serves as something to hold some much better OS's
Hey barbarian,
How about writing that in lingo I can understand? Or do I have to learn a whole new language if I want to get into computers?
