No stigma in abortion?
A state-funded sex education Web site that tells teens an abortion is “much easier than it sounds” has drawn fire from outraged pro-lifers who say mariatalks.com is glossing over ugly truths, steering teens toward the controversial procedure and counseling them how to keep mom and dad in the dark.

“The commonwealth is using taxpayer money to tell kids how to get a secret abortion, and that’s wrong,” said Linda Thayer, a former Boston schoolteacher who is vice president for educational affairs of Massachusetts Citizens for Life, which this week took aim at the site.

“This is a misuse of state funds, especially for parents who are taxpayers,” said Thayer, who also blasted the Web site for “deception by omission” for describing abortion simply as “when the contents of the womb (uterus) are removed.” ...

We just gave birth to our fourth blessing and when my wife was pregnant, she found out through Ultrasound that the umbilical cord had two strands instead of three. immediately the OB wanted her to go to see a "specialist" to talk over her (not our) "options". We all know what that meant. babies with only two strands sometimes are born with problems. SO?! He's perfect in every way and when we said no, they were very insistent and actually got angry with us for refusing. Amazing stuff. A child is a blessing not a curse or burden "Mother Earth". Yeesh...

My second son was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 pound 15 ounces. There are those who will have an abortion and be told that the "contents" of their womb is nothing more than a lifeless mass. I have pictures and video to state otherwise. This is one of a few sore points with me and I pity the one who gets into it with me. This is murder period, no matter the circumstances. It doesn't matter if the girl/woman was raped or if she had an illicit one nighter, the baby doesn't deserve to have its body sliced into pieces and/or preserved for medical testing purposes (yes this is true). The baby is precious in God's eyes and the murderers will be punished severely.

What a nice fellow you are! Anyway, my comment was meant for 99.9% of what I hear from the pulpits and from society in general, not at you. I'm sure you didn't mean to use the word "victim" in the manner I was using it. Please forgive any misunderstanding.

Well I certainly can't get into the hearts and minds of those who perform or receive abortions, but I do know the definition of murder. It is the intentionally taking of an innocent life. If a child is raised and trained to believe evolution is true and then based on that knowledge they become serial killers or murderers, what would we say to them? It is about time we stopped thinking that everyone is simply a victim of their environment or circumstances. The only difference between these categories is one is legal and the other isn't. Let's see someone argue that with our Messiah on judgment day.

The article said, “It’s really a complete and medically accurate set of information,” Miller said. “I’m impressed that the state has provided this information in a youth-friendly, nonjudgmental manner.”

Is Andrea Miller than a health-care professional? If so, her experience in the field contradicts mine. Just one example: Mental Health follow-up will eventually be necessary for the poor young vicitm of their lies, who will become a worldly wise ward of the state UNLESS a merciful God intervenes. He is not limited in His power and can intervene with or without the aid of family and Church. The Church's aid, however is to be desired, especially since their culpability is so great and to a large part chiefly responsible.

What happens when a President who campaigned for abortion rights by stating that he "[Doesn't] want [his] daughter punished [by having a child]," loses his daughter one day during an abortion procedure?

Won't this cause an abortion "stigma"?
