British courts are 'set against religious freedom for Christians' - barrister
Paul Diamond represented married Christian couple Owen and Eunice Johns who made headlines when the High Court upheld Derby City Council's right to halt their application to be foster carers because they said they could not promote the homosexual lifestyle.
Mr Diamond has advised the couple not to appeal the decision, saying that it would be ‚Äúfutile‚ÄĚ.
‚ÄúThe courts are so set against religious freedom for Christians that an appeal is likely to only make matters worse,‚ÄĚ he said.
"‚ÄúThe courts are so set against religious freedom for Christians that an appeal is likely to only make matters worse,‚ÄĚ he said. Instead, he and the Johns are seeking a political intervention to ensure that Christians can live and work according to their conscience."
The courts in Britain don't do much justice and punishment either. Murderers, Rapists, Paedophiles and other criminals get out of prison within a few years and go back on the streets of society. Many ordinary people in Britain today are expressing the fact that there is no justice today.
Thus does Britain go further into decline judicially as well as morally. Romans chapter one v18-32 refers.
