A Christian-based group is taking exception to a weekend news report on the disproportionate influence of homosexual state lawmakers.
Only 85 of the nearly 7,400 state lawmakers across America are openly homosexual. But The Associated Press reported on Sunday that the tiny group is making an "outsized and often impassioned" impact when it comes to homosexual "marriage" and similar issues. Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality tells OneNewsNow that while they may be having an impact, it is magnified by the liberal media.
"It's part of the homosexual strategy all along to personalize it, [to] play to people's emotions -- and they're very good at that," says LaBarbera. "It shouldn't really make a difference, especially when homosexual legislation is affecting real people [and] the media is not interested in talking about [that]."...
"We all know people who are embracing sin -- yet we don't change our view of the sin because of that." He cites such things as pornography, alcohol, and drug abuse."
The current acceptance by society of the abomination that is homosexuality coincides with the decline of the church. The declension of sound Biblical Doctrine combined with less believers in the nations must have an obvious effect in society; - Obvious that is to the true Christians.
Proverbs 29:16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
"Multiplying" the wicked obviously implies the reduction of the righteous.
