We have completed our implementation of upload via email so that now you can upload your audio sermons to SermonAudio from any device by simply sending an email! This means that you can now upload directly from any iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, or even with your PC through Outlook!
The sermon details (such as title, subtitle, speaker, Bible reference) can optionally be specified in the body of the email and are automatically submitted to the site thus saving you an extra step.
Audio file attachment. The actual audio is sent as an attachment and must be in one of the following file formats: MP3, M4A, WMA. We will auto-convert on our end. Please note that the current email attachment size limitation is 25MB.
Who is this for? This feature is useful for those churches or ministries wishing to upload sermons directly from a portable device. This makes it possible to do all the recording, editing, and uploading without the need for a PC.
Here are the optional sermon details you can specify in the body of the email. Please note, you can use a period (.) instead of a colon (:) where shown below:
Title: (just the title, no date, Scripture references, etc) Speaker: (must match an existing speaker name) Date: (date preached - optional) Event: (event type category - optional) Bible: (optional, but highly recommended) Subtitle: (optional, 30-character limit) Keywords: (optional, single words) Summary: (optional, avoid HTML tags)
Each of the above options must appear on a separate, single line in the body and are completely optional. If you omit the date or event type information, the system will default to today's date and to the 'Sunday Service' event type.
Anytime recording and uploading! A possible usage scenario for email uploads would be to use the Voice Memo app on your iPhone (or any other phone) to record short audio blogs, devotional thoughts, or even on-the-spot interviews and upload it straight from your phone and have it available in mere minutes!

Please note. The 10-FREE policy is unavailable with this upload method. There is a standard $1 charge for every sermon uploaded this way. It's a small price to pay for broadcasters needing the convenience of uploads via email.
