Brigitte Gabriel bounced to the stage at a Tea Party convention last fall. She greeted the crowd with a loud Texas “Yee-HAW,” then launched into the same gripping personal story she has told in hundreds of churches, synagogues and conference rooms across the United States: As a child growing up a Maronite Christian in war-torn southern Lebanon in the 1970s, Ms. Gabriel said, she had been left lying injured in rubble after Muslims mercilessly bombed her village. She found refuge in Israel and then moved to the United States, only to find that the Islamic radicals who had terrorized her in Lebanon, she said, were now bent on taking over America....
What a blessing to have the Word of God, through which to view all this mixture. I think that the prophetic Scripture rightly interpreted so helpful. Not through the eyes of a preterist theonomist or the the pre millennial dispensationalist. The post millennial historist's interpretation, that is verified in the Psalms most won't sing and the Old & New Testament Scriptures. One can see the significance of the sixth trumpet judgment on the eastern governments who follow Mystery Babylon east or west. The 6th vial judging the antichristian churches will open the east to the gospel. This sheds new light on what is happening in the ME now and it will continue for a short time and then what will follow the in the 7th trumpet judgment on western governments and the accompanying vial(s) on the western churches complying with Mystery Babylon west or east or both in combination, the Lord knows. The signs of which are being verified daily.
Interesting that Ms Gabriel is tainted by some her contacts, such as the two Pats, Roberson and Buchanan. Yes, one should be aware of the insidious nature of Islam, q.v., The Two Faces of Islam . . . Still Smiling, but some her associates are just as supportive of a Theonomy as Muhammad are, a curse on both their houses.
By the way, an interesting secular peace on The New Humanism by David Brooks, whom many of you have seen on PBS. There is to much "human" and no "Christ" in the piece however, so its ideas are doomed to fail.
