In a recent NBC Channel 12 interview, President Barack Obama praised Planned Parenthood's work and suggested that pro-life videos implicating the abortion provider of cover ups were "manufactured."
Obama expressed pro-choice sentiments during a Richmond, Va. television interview. The interviewer asked the president to comment on videos made by youth-led group Live Action, and Republicans' efforts to defund Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
Obama responded by pointing to other issues that he contended deserved more attention. He also questioned the authenticity of the Live Action videos....
Consider this: Adoption costs about 75 times the cost of abortion. I know this, because I went through the insane gauntlet required to actually WANT a child that someone else won't or can't raise. There's background checks, letters of recommendation, home evaluations, lawyers' fees, post placement social worker visits, court date(s), and on and on and on.
The wholesale slaughter of human beings is the first tragedy here. The unnecessary difficulty of adoption, my friends, is the second one.
If we condemn those who get abortion wrong, we'd have to condemn the SBC:
Southern Baptist Convention Resolutions on Abortion
Resolution On Abortion, adopted at the SBC convention, June 1971:
"Be it further RESOLVED, That we call upon Southern Baptists to work for legislation that will allow the possibility of abortion under such conditions as rape, incest, clear evidence of severe fetal deformity, and carefully ascertained evidence of the likelihood of damage to the emotional, mental, and physical health of the mother."
"He suggested national problems such as jobs and the economy be addressed instead of focusing on abortion."
Don't like the subject under discussion? Just change it. But in a way, it *is* consistent in this respect: abortion is often justified on economic grounds - babies cost too much.
Drug co. ads for contraceptives insinuate the same thing. One suggests that birth control makes a bigger house affordable. But then, what would one need a bigger house for, if not children?
"In a recent NBC Channel 12 interview, President Barack Obama praised Planned Parenthood's work and suggested that pro-life videos implicating the abortion provider of cover ups were "manufactured."
"He suggested national problems such as jobs and the economy be addressed instead of focusing on abortion."
By their fruits we will know them.
He is the national problem, which will be addressed in 2012.
I take my hat off to Bill O'Reilly who is doing a great job in exposing Planned Parenthood for the evil organisation that it is. Shame on president Obama for even thinking these videos were "manufactured", and bigger shame for not standing up for the rights of the unborn.
Regardless how often Pres. Obama professes to be a Christian, his lack of respect for fellow human beings always reveals his unregenerate heart. May God grant him true repentance and salvation. Amen.
