In the latest battle in what was once known as the abortion capital of the world, a liberal activist group is protesting a meeting of pro-lifers in a Kansas public school.
Wichita, Kansas, has been abortion-free since the late-term abortionist Dr. George Tiller was murdered in a church in May 2009. It has come to light recently, however, that Aid For Women -- a private abortion clinic in Kansas City, Kansas -- has been training two new abortionists to open their own clinic in Wichita.
In reaction, Kansans for Life scheduled a prayer meeting last week, calling on God for intervention. Longtime pro-life activist Donna Lippoldt with the Kansas Family Policy Council says the meeting at Coleman Middle School on Friday was simply an event to pray for women and their unborn babies.
