Pope Benedict XVI formally created 24 new cardinals on Saturday amid cheers in St. Peter's Basilica, bringing a mostly Italian group into the elite club that will eventually elect his successor.
Speaking in Latin, Benedict read out each of the names of the new "princes of the church" at the start of the Mass, eliciting roaring applause from the pews and smiles from the cardinals themselves.
Wearing their new scarlet cassocks — to signify their willingness to shed their own blood for the church — the cardinals processed first into the basilica, waving to well-wishers as organ music thundered in a festive yet solemn atmosphere....

No I am not considered a heretic by the Catholic Church because the Catholic Church is not cognizant of my beliefs. It is no business of the Catholic Church what my beliefs are. And why am I considered a hypocrite by you and the other Fundamentalist Protestants on here? I preach against the unscriptural Catholic doctrines and the unscriptural parts to the Mass and I do not believe the unscriptural Catholic doctrines and I do not participate in the unscriptural parts to the Mass. So I can't be a hypocrite. A hypocrite is someone who preaches agains something and then does that which they preach against. And since I believe in "Only Scripture","Only Christ","Only Grace","Only Faith" and "To God Alone Be Glory" then I have the Marks Of A Believer.

Similarly, you are a Roman Catholic, but reject most all of the RCC doctrines. Rome would condemn you, but your defense is, "stay in the church and don't let them find out". This is warped and twisted.
This private brand of Roman Catholicism of yours allows you a sneaky backdoor exit. For instance, if there's a thread condemning prayers to the dead, you would post that as a Roman Catholic, you do not pray to the dead. Yes, you DON'T, but the Church DOES! All your posts need to be seen in this light. You've redefined what a priest is.

Well that is your warped and twisted opinion that the idea of the Catholic priesthood is not Christian. I do not consider priests to be intermediaries between God and man since I totally reject and repudiate the doctrine that the Mass is a sacrifice. I consider priests to be just preachers. And thus if priests are not intermediaries between God and man and do not offer a sacrifice and are just preachers then preists are biblical and Christian.
From the Pope on down, or perhaps from local priest up the evil chain of command, all these people consider themselves priests. The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood is not just the sexual abuse, the tip of the iceberg, but the whole idea of the Catholic priesthood is not Christian.
