Atheist activists take billboard ad campaign to Bible Belt
Atheist activists from Wisconsin picked the biggest city in the Bible Belt for their largest advertising campaign, posting 50 billboards in metro Atlanta this week with messages including “Imagine No Religion.’’
The nonprofit Freedom From Religion Foundation, which says it is the largest organization of non-believers with 16,000 members, has placed billboards in about 45 cities in 30 states since October 2007, said said Annie Laurie Gaylor, the group’s co-president. The Atlanta billboards are part of a southern membership and education push....
To John Yurich USA Sick and demented is going a titch to far my religious friend. I am not religious nor do I follow a religion. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my strength, my comfort, my Salvation. I do not follow dead rituals, empty prayers, wear trinkets and bow to idols. I follow the living God, live for Jesus and one day will quite happily die for Jesus all the while spreading the Gospel to all who have ears. This is not a religion. Do I have beliefs? Yes. Do I have convictions? Yes. They are not my god however, and that is where my faith in Jesus Christ differs from religion. Hope I have cleared the air on this and sorry for any misunderstands.

No more vain work...just plain simple faith, following our Saviour and doing His will. Let's do it! If we need Atheists to start the process, then so be it. God used a donkey's mouth before, why not do it again?
How sick and demented can anybody claiming to be a Christian be stating no religion? Christianity is a religion in case you forgot.
I expect the reaction from local Christians will be the same here as anywhere. A polite, "Oh well poor reprobates on their way to hell"
And the local atheists will remark, "Whats religion?"
As Jesus Himself remarked about some parts of the church "21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
So the Christian is not surprised at the fact that there are sinners who do not know God - whether in the church or outside.

Fully agree ...except not all religion is bad.
Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. Acts 26:5 KJV
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: Galatians 1:13 KJV
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. James 1:26 KJV
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 KJV
