Do you believe that Moses was saved by faith or by works? Abraham? Was it not Moses's generation that did not have faith to take the land even though they sacrificed animals? Was not Joshua faithful?
These are just some thoughts I have. Hebrews 11---they looked foward to a better country. It was faith in the coming Messiah. It has always been Christ.

If I may join in.....I interpret Romans 11 to mean there is only one salvation, through Christ, the olive tree. All redeemed grow from the tree of life, there is no other salvation. Nationalism will not redeem the soul of an Israeli anymore than it will a Gentile. Salvation is only through the redemption of the soul. It has always been through faith. It was never by works. Never.
I think of Palestinian Christians who are locked up in that area of the world, and Israeli Christians. All Christians are our brothers and sisters. These are the true family of God. Anyone outside of that may hear and believe, and we desire peace for all, however, Christ is the only Prince of Peace. Without Him, there is no redemption.
