Two major broadcasters have refused to air an advertisement urging Americans to protest the building of a mosque and Islamic cultural center just blocks from the ruins of the World Trade Center.
NBC and CBS refused to broadcast the 60-second ad, which is sponsored by the National Republican Trust, a conservative organization that promotes "American values" and supports candidates running for office.
The ad, titled "Kill the Ground Zero Mosque," received more than 134,000 hits on YouTube as of 1:30 p.m. Thursday. It contains graphic footage of the Sept. 11 attacks, including a clip of one of the planes crashing into one of the Twin Towers and a man plunging to his death. It also captures images of Islamic militants....
The advertisement is in poor taste. One has to wonder if some of the John Birchites have found a new home with the Republicans?
DP, I tend to agree with you, but someone also should have the right to build a giant unflattering statue of Muhammad, perhaps when he was having one of his seizures, within sight of this mosque?

Where the Word of God is given no open vision ( the pastors have become like in Isa 56: 11) the people perish.. then every false thing (mosques) are soon to follow.
Not sure what people expect the government to do, or how one can, on the basis of the Bill of Rights, forbid one religion to build a worship center, but allow other religions to build. Sure, the location is awful, and the idea is insensitive, but it is a free country...for everybody, not just Christians.
What will christians do about it? be warmed and filled...god of the bible is doing it for our good and he doesn,t want any action from us else we will be working for our salvation????
My daughter RIGHTLY said, "It's a slap in the face!" But is it the radical Muslim's or God doing the slapping? I prefer to believe that its the latter!
