Publishers of Christian material have begun producing iPhone applications that can cough up quick comebacks and rhetorical strategies for believers who want to fight back against what they view as a new strain of strident atheism. And a competing crop of apps is arming nonbelievers for battle....
It is evident that Jason Hagen is ignorant of the Hebrew language:

I recommend that you hide behind the propitiatory shield provided by God, which is Christ Jesus, the sinless substitute who died in the place of sinners, bearing their sins and the consequences thereof. The consequences of not doing so is not bravery, it is foolishness. For you will have to bear the wrath and justice of God yourself, and this punishment is eternal.

Think on death, and after death, the judgment. Think on the Son of God being offered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. Think on this one who has loved us sinners so much as to suffer in our place, that we might go at last to heaven, saved by his precious blood.
Think on how awful it is to reject such love, and proudly talk about suffering for your own sins in hell. Eternity never ends.

Admitting the truth about your need is hardly cowardly. It takes humility and courage. But it is good that you take responsibility, for if you do not come to understand that you are a sinner in need of the Savior, you will be held responsible, and will deal with the consequences. You won't like them, and they are eternal.
Understand, Jesus wasn't forced to become a sacrifice for people. He volunteered out of love, so that people might be saved. If there were another way, he wouldn't have done it.

As to your question, yes, God has spoken, and all his words are found in the Bible. In that holy book, you will find that you are a sinner and a rebel and a thief and a murderer, and that the consequence of such is everlasting separation from your creator in a lake of fire. You will also find that God is willing and able to save you from these deserved consequences, forgive you totally, and grant you by his grace the gift of eternal life.
