An explosion of smart-phone software has placed an arsenal of trivia at the fingertips of every corner-bar debater, with talking points on sports, politics and how to kill a zombie. Now it is taking on the least trivial? topic of all: God.
Publishers of Christian material have begun producing iPhone applications that can cough up quick comebacks and rhetorical strategies for believers who want to fight back against what they view as a new strain of strident atheism. And a competing crop of apps is arming nonbelievers for battle....
It is evident that Jason Hagen is ignorant of the Hebrew language:
"Mr. Hagen’s atheistic app resonates with the same certitude. If Jacob saw the face of God (in Genesis 32:30), and God said, “No man shall see me and live” (in Exodus 33:20), then “which one is the liar?” he asks.
His conclusion: “If we know the Bible has content that is false, how can we believe any of it?”" _____________________________________________________
Jewish Pastor Richard Wurmbrand explains that there is no word for face in Hebrew, but only: "faces":

I would hardly call it cowardly for the occupants of a space capsule to be protected by the *propitiatory shield* around their spacecraft, which shield takes the high temperatures upon re-entering the earth's atmosphere, diverting it from the craft and preventing it from burning up and killing all the crew. Do you?
In like manner, Christ is the *propitiation* for us, shielding us from the righteous wrath of God:
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the *propitiation* for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 KJV
I recommend that you hide behind the propitiatory shield provided by God, which is Christ Jesus, the sinless substitute who died in the place of sinners, bearing their sins and the consequences thereof. The consequences of not doing so is not bravery, it is foolishness. For you will have to bear the wrath and justice of God yourself, and this punishment is eternal.
"...writings by UNKNOWN human authors..." Illogical, as is your beginning premise of knowing with full confidence that there is no God.

"I should be tried in COURT" Revelation 20: 11,12 and 15. "And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it... And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were JUDGED from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Yes it is true; charges will be brought; you will serve your eternal sentence; you are responsible for your own actions.
Unless......
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV
Think on death, and after death, the judgment. Think on the Son of God being offered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. Think on this one who has loved us sinners so much as to suffer in our place, that we might go at last to heaven, saved by his precious blood.
Think on how awful it is to reject such love, and proudly talk about suffering for your own sins in hell. Eternity never ends.

Admitting the truth about your need is hardly cowardly. It takes humility and courage. But it is good that you take responsibility, for if you do not come to understand that you are a sinner in need of the Savior, you will be held responsible, and will deal with the consequences. You won't like them, and they are eternal.
Understand, Jesus wasn't forced to become a sacrifice for people. He volunteered out of love, so that people might be saved. If there were another way, he wouldn't have done it.

Right.
And only the Almighty God, whom you presently do not believe in, can reverse that derangement.
Do you believe that you have a free will to change your thinking? If so, how does that work?

Excellent point!
As to your question, yes, God has spoken, and all his words are found in the Bible. In that holy book, you will find that you are a sinner and a rebel and a thief and a murderer, and that the consequence of such is everlasting separation from your creator in a lake of fire. You will also find that God is willing and able to save you from these deserved consequences, forgive you totally, and grant you by his grace the gift of eternal life.
Read God's word and see for yourself.
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved....Acts 16:31.
