Taliban hang 7-year-old boy accused of being a spy, suicide bomber kills 40 at Afghanistan wedding
Twisted Taliban militants took terror to a new low by accusing a 7-year-old boy of spying - and hanging him high.

That outrage drew immediate condemnation from the Afghan president, who called the execution a "crime against humanity."

"I don't think there's a crime bigger than that, that even the most inhuman forces on earth can commit," Hamid Karzai said Thursday. "A 7-year-old boy cannot be a spy. A 7-year-old boy cannot be anything but a 7-year-old boy

The execution happened Tuesday in the embattled Helmand province, said Dawoud Ahmadi, a spokesman for the provincial governor. ...

Huh! islam: The Religion of Peace. Actually all of Islam is twisted, the Inadequacy of Islam.

John 14
6 Jesus said^ to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."
1 Corinthians
8 On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that your brethren.
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Thou shalt not steal.
Exodus 20:15 KJV

Only four words of command by the Almighty, but if mankind would understand the import of these simple words, we should all hang our heads in shame because of our guilt, for we are all thieves, and that continually. And if any shall say, "I am no thief!" it is a sure sign that the Spirit has not revealed to you how evil is your heart.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9 KJV

But praise God for his grace and mercy. Despite a multitude of sins in every life, he is willing and able to forgive every last one, even the sins we know not, and give as a gift, eternal life, to any who renounce themselves and their own works, and cast themselves upon the mercy of the Lord Jesus, trusting him only, and his work of vicarious substitution, his sacrifice for sin at Calvary, where he payed the price of sin, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:31 KJV

They said correctly, of course!

When I was maybe between four and seven, I took twenty dollars off the table. I convinced myself that it mustn't belong to anybody. When I was found out, I got the spanking of my life.

Josh 7:24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.

Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

There is a mandatory "death sentence" for all sinners, and it is fulfilled in the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus sets those who are slaves of sin free. Jesus teaches that mercy triumphs over judgment and no mercy was shown to this poor young boy. May he be in the arms of the angels, in Jesus' Presence. May God have mercy upon us all, that we live in a world where such crimes are committed against children.

This story is shocking. Canadian Forces have lost around 150 men and women in Afghanistan since they first started fighting there. This is added evidence that it is a worthwhile cause. The Taliban are a twisted evil lot that need to be stopped.

Christian Taliban is an oxymoron.
"Christian" Taliban is not.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But THOU saith unto us, a life for a loaf of bread.

Be careful, be very careful before YOU call for an unbiblical death sentence upon another:-

"If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong; Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days; And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you. And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you. And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot."

According to Christ burglary and robbery are NOT capital crimes.

Such executions were EVIL in Britain.

"Minor offenders" appears to to refer to minor crimes, not offenders who had not reached the age of majority.

"Whilst executions for murder, burglary and robbery were common, the death sentences for minor offenders were often not carried out. However, children were commonly executed for such minor crimes as stealing. A sentence of death could be commuted or respited ..."
