President Barack Obama made a pilgrimage Sunday to Billy Graham's mountainside home, concluding his North Carolina vacation with his first meeting with the ailing evangelist who has counseled commanders in chief since Dwight Eisenhower.
The 48-year-old president made the short drive to Montreat from Asheville, where he spent the weekend, to see the 91-year-old Graham and son Franklin, also an evangelist.
During the visit, which lasted about 30 minutes and included aides and advisers to both men, Obama had a private prayer and conversation with Billy Graham. The evangelist gave Obama two Bibles, one for him and one for the first lady, Graham spokesman Larry Ross said....
Pres. Obama, is indeed our President but all of his actions show that he is a very wicked man.
You would think that when one is near the end of his stay in the land of the living and about ready to be face to face with Christ, that he would be full of God's Spirit and witness Christ to one who needs Him.
The article stated that they only conversed for 30 minutes. In that time span, Franklin stated that they talked about their roots in Chicago, golf and Billy prayed for the nation and for Pres. Obama, to have wisdom in his decision-making.
That he might have spiritual wisdom in his decision-making for Christ! That he might read II Tim. 4:1-8. "...do the work of an evangelist..."!!!
John Y., even Billy Graham when he was on the pulpit usually preached accurately. Everywhere else, he did not live a Christian life. "While Graham has become the very symbol of gentle, compassionate and loving evangelicalism, he has also become the symbol for evangelicalism that speaks cautiously, critically and non-theologically. He was never able to escape the fuzzy a-theological pragmatism of modern evangelicalism. It is Billy Graham more than any other figure in this century who helped to create by his overwhelming persona the present evangelical crisis which threatens to destroy the very institutions and causes in which Graham invested his life and energy for over 55 years," from,Deliverance: From the Temporal World to the Eterna as quoted from an article by John MacArthur.
Prayer and worship with known unbelievers is tricky. You want them to seek God but you don't want them to think they are in good standing with God just because they are going through the same motions as you are.

Franklin Graham does not preach a False Gospel. Franklin Graham is a duly ordained Baptist minister who preaches the Baptist doctrine of salvation that salvation comes only through receiving Jesus as ones Personal Savior. I learned the way of salvation from watching Billy Graham Crusades and other Baptist and Evangelical Protestant ministers on television where they stated that the only way to become saved was by receiving Jesus as ones Savior.
From, the article, ' Asked about Graham's health, Burton said: "He's still as sharp as he ever was."'
This means that Billy still has time to read the Bible and disavow many of his past errors,
Luke 6 46 "And why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47 "Everyone who comes to Me, and hears My words, and acts upon them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49 "But the one who has heard, and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house upon the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great."---NASB
