Members from all three branches of the Federal government already know that Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible for the office of President. National leaders, to include members of the US Supreme Court, already know that Barack Hussein Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America, and therefore, is ineligible for the office he currently holds.
What they don’t know is how long it will take for most Americans to figure it out, or what to do about it.
The diversionary search for an authentic birth certificate is ongoing and Obama has now spent in excess of $2 million in legal fees to keep that search alive....
How so, Penny? In fact I take the view of while I'm in the world I'm not of the world. This is probably why I --hope-- I'm a little more "laid back" than many others when I talk about politics. Also why I don't think much of "Christian" Activism? as of course the article doesn't either.
Romans 66:1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection,---NASB and for that matter, Colossians 3:1-10
There are always verses tied to one of Gil Rugh's sermons.
Jim Lincoln wrote: quoting Gil Rugh: "All that we were in our old nature, died with Christ and we begin a new life with a new nature that is no longer under sins' dominion and authority. Consequently the believer, who is no longer a slave to sin, only sins by choosing to."
It would be wise to compare the quote above with this Scripture to check if what it is stated above is Scriptural.
“… now we are delivered from the law, ... that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I … Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. … Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.” Rom 7
Yes, Penny, I know about and support lordship salvation.
Gil Rugh said or, wrote: The application of the Gospel to a life by faith includes identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This means the believer (6:4) will lead a new life, lived in a different way that is conforming to the character of Christ who is both Savior and Lord. All that we were in our old nature, died with Christ and we begin a new life with a new nature that is no longer under sins' dominion and authority. Consequently the believer, who is no longer a slave to sin, only sins by choosing to. The result of believing the whole and true Gospel is a freedom to live as 'slaves of righteousness' doing the will of God, not the will of the old nature which is driven by selfish sinful desires. This new life then honors and glorifies God with holy living, as He is holy.
Jim Lincoln wrote: ... because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so;
The passage speaks in the context of the believer's conflict not about the world's jurisdiction, though you might extend the principle to that case also. The world does not know God and we should not expect submission to Scripture. However, let's be aware that the law of God is written in the human heart. See previous posts.
The church is not meant to be above the State, but to influence it, that we might "lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;" 1Ti 2:1-3
Jim Lincoln wrote: What about my message just right before this one? Romans 8
does Christ have dominion over each one of us or are we his lackeys along for the free ride? Does Christ have dominion over your life? Is He your Lord and King?.... or just Savior. He has to be both or He's neither.

Romans 8 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so; 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.---NASB
so just how are you going to install a Dominion society into one that doesn't believe in Christ? where the percentage of Christians is probably dropping anyway
No, Mike, just like when I put up that comment, I saw the article mentioned and then I thought well that be a good thing to put up on SermonAudio. You'd be surprised what DuckDuckGo comes up with, and I thought it a very good place for it.
I just thought you'd love it since it was talking about liberal conspiracies somewhat backed up with factual matter. I know it only happens to see it I have given him a whole lot of fresh ammunition
Gasp! Complaints complaints! even when I put up something you guys should really love Where are all the congratulations telling me thanks for putting up a link to such a great article
BM, I think I gave many examples of not wanting to live in a Dominion-run society, the puritanical nonsense that destroyed itself, Christ being the only person to establish the Kingdom, q.v., How the Church Relates to the Kingdom -- if you haven't yet ( at least read the summary for it). The article, What is Dominion Theology? (PDF) should show people the error of their ways!
Jim Lincoln wrote: My how observant, Mike! Just to show you I am even handed here is a three-part article on left-wing conspiracies funded by rich American businessman --- Real Conspiracies: Past and Present
5 years and 5 months to respond, Jim? Things must be slow in inadequate moralityville.
Jim Lincoln wrote: Dominionism, and ... the Christian ... involvement in politics
Your non acceptance of Dominionism and Christian activism does not provide entire justification for your remarks: "I don't want ... a man-runned theocracy ... I don't want to live in a Puritan state". There should be a better perspective that avoids such polarities
You really mustn't've read the second in command of John MacArthur's commentary. If politics is more than a hobby I think it's a sinful waste of time, though Phil wouldn't think that of non-pastors, but...
Phil Johnson wrote: How did the evangelical movement get so far off track? I wouldn’t suggest that evangelicalism’s recent obsession with political activism is the only factor, but I do think it’s a major one. If the same energies and resources that were poured into failed political efforts had been channeled into evangelism instead, I’m convinced that would have been instrumental in producing more spiritual good and hindering more of society’s evils than all our lobbying, demonstrating, and voting combined....

1. This is common knowledge by now 2. Is siding, as a norm, against biblical conservatism one of your 'virtues', 'hobbies' or private agenda? 3. One hour a day prayerfuly at the Scriptures might go further.
Mike wrote: Yes, we should never talk about things like presidents, culture, direction, sin in high places, deception, etc. We should focus on more important things like Psalms only music, thee vs you, and Saint John Calvin.
The Satanic-Vaticanist "Jesut(ic)s" & Freemasonic "Religious" Illumnatists Who Post Frequently On This Sermoaudio Website (Not To Mention Manipulate The Internet & This VERY Sermonaudio Website) Are TOTALLY WILLFULLY IGNORANT Of The FACT That THE HISTORIC ENGLISH AUTHORIZED HOLY JUDEO-CHRISTIAN BIBLE SCRIPTURES Do INDEED Speak Of CONSPIRACIES: As THEY Mention The Word "CONSPIRACY" 10 Times !
"Now After The Time That Amaziah Did Turn Away From Following The LORD They Made CONSPIRACY Against Him In Jerusalem; And He Fled To Lachish: But They Sent To Laschish After Him, And Slew Him There." II Chronicles 25:27
"And The King Of Assyria Found CONSPIRACY In Hoshea: For He Had Sent Messengers To So King Of Egypt, And Brought No Present To The King Of Assyria, As he Had Done Year By Year: Therefore The King Of Assyria Shut Him Up, And bound Him In Prison. II Kings 17:4
"And Hoshea The Son Of Elah Made A CONSPIRACY Against Pekah The Son Of Remaliah, And Smote Him, And Slew Him, And Reigned In His Stead, In The Twentieth Year Of Jotham The Son Of Uzziah." II Kings 15:30
"And The Rest Of The Acts Of Shallum, And His CONSPIRACY Which He Made, Behold, They Are Written In The Book Of The Chronicles Of The Kings Of Israel." II Kings 15:15

Evidently, "Rob", Your " 'Jesus' Christ" Is NOT The LORD JESUS CHRIST & AUTHOR Of THE HISTORIC AUTHORIZED HOLY JUDEO-CHRISTIAN BIBLE SCRIPTURES Which Say (Or In Your Line Of Thinking "gossip"):
"And The Night Following The LORD (JESUS CHRIST) Stood By Him, And Said, Be Of Good Cheer, Paul: For As Thou Hast Testified Of Me In Jerusalem, So Must Thou Bear Witness Also At Rome.
And When It Was Day, Certain Of The Jews Banded Together, And Bound Themselves Under A Curse, Saying That They Would Neither Eat Nor Drink Till They Had Killed Paul.
And They Were More Than Forty Which Had Made This CONSPIRACY." Acts 23:11-13
"There Is A CONSPIRACY Of Her Prophets In The Midst Thereof, Like A Roaring Lion Ravening The Prey; They Have Devoured Souls; They Have Taken The Treasure And Precious Things: They Have Made Her Many Widows In The Midst Thereof." Ezekiel 22:25
"And The LORD Said Unto Me, A CONSPIRACY Is Found Among The Men Of Judah, And Among The Inhabitants Of Jerusalem." Jeremiah 11:9
The Only "red neck" Posting "crap" Is "rob"--Or Should I Say COVERT SATANIC-VATICANIST ROMAN-"CATHOLIC"-CULTIC "JESUIT(IC)" CONSPIRATOR !
Ricky St. Claire wrote: Is it really wise for SermonAudio to feature a "news" item like this that is tied to conspiracy theories, mostly associated with nutjobs, debunked by fact-checking websites (like factcheck.org, for instance), and is very, very partisan in its claim? Regardless of anyone's opinion on the topic of Obama's birth, I don't think it serves or honors Christ at all to feature this kind of news/propaganda and, through the nature of your website, associate it with God, Christ, and Biblical truth. Please be more discerning. It's nice to have those news bits, and everyone is entitled to an opinion, but remember Who we are representing. Bashing Obama, for whatever reason, hurts our testimony.
