What he is considered needs be dealt with as it is. A man is "attracted" to (lusts after) children because he is a pedophile. He is "attracted" to (lusts after) male children because he is a homosexual pedophile.

But GOD says
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

And God declares

The popes advisors must be reading the wrong studies,the majority of paedophiles are hetrosexual males, and it matters little weather thier victims are male or female.Its more to do with power than gender preference. It is a myth that people with homosexual orientation have a higher prediliction to paedophilia.
