Farrakhan: Anti-Obama comments may lead to death
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Wednesday that a hateful climate is being created in the U.S. that may encourage an assassination of President Barack Obama.

He pointed to racist comments, including the "N-word," being shouted at legislators who supported Obama's health care overhaul legislation and past rallies where signs depicted Obama as Hitler.

"Obama is being demonized," Farrakhan said on WVON, a black-oriented Chicago radio station. "The incendiary remarks are fanning those who voted against" health care reforms. ...

It's telling, Jim that you rate a leader by how effective he is, not by how good or right he is. You are basically saying Johnson did some bad things, BUT he was effective. Hitler was effective. Mao was effective. Johnson was effective in getting us deeply into an uncommitted war, effective in lots of useless things. If effective is this, give me do-nothing.

Well, jpw, and Mike, even if we don't have a king, the biblical principal still holds. One moderate Republican (a highly endangered species, ), liked what Obama said a year ago, except for the public option, and of course, that no longer exists. The Obama Health Care Speech: One Republican’s Vie , President Obama finally did what many Republican approved of in the past.

By, the into the year and especially in the couple of more years, everyone gets to vote on what Congress and the present President has and will have done. The Believer and Politics

Iv'e been wondering where Farrakhan has been. He seemed to be strangly conspicuopus by his absence. As far as Obama being a target of assasination, if someone attempts it or succeds, it may not be beacause Obama is black, but because of his policies. People that oppose ObamaCare are nor against it because he is black either.

Gil Rugh should know respect is earned not owned.
But how then do you handle this one ?

Rom 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
Especially............
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Gil Rugh wrote:
Our democracy allows us to voice our opinions on issues. Yet in our American political scene, our leaders are not honored. They are often trashed over the airwaves of TV and radio, and in the sarcastic drawings of the editorial pages of newspapers. Unfortunately, many Christians are involved in mean-spirited criticism of our leaders. I have heard believers say of the current president, “I could never respect him.” That is a problem, because God commands us to respect our leaders. Their problem, then, is not with the President—it is with God. We, surely, have had presidents of questionable character....

I agree with Farrakhan that the possibility of Obama being assassinated is becoming higher and higher. If Obama was assassinated then Biden would become president and that would not be any better because Biden is just as insane and psychotic as Obama is.
