President Obama proclaimed Jan. 16 as Religious Freedom Day in the United States in commemoration of a statute passed by America’s forefathers that declared freedom of religion as a natural right of all humanity.
“Long before our Nation’s independence, weary settlers sought refuge on our shores to escape religious persecution on other continents,” Obama said on Friday in a statement. “Recognizing their strife and toil, it was the genius of America’s forefathers to protect our freedom of religion, including the freedom to practice none at all.”...
"...commemoration of a statute passed by America’s forefathers that declared freedom of religion as a natural right..."
Mr Obama; What the forefathers were referring to is the persecution which Jesus, the Son of God teaches in Mattthew chapter 5. NOT the freedom of heresy such as your religion of Liberalism and other man made cults.
Christ Jesus declares "10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake." Matthew 5.
Does anyone actually think Obama has even read the Virginia Act for Establishing Religious Freedom"? After all, it speaks of "false religions over the greatest part of the world." Does Obama think this Act is a defense of all religious belief?
Sure, just as long as we all obey the gods of the religion we are born in to, Statism, and then, and only then, can we worship our "little Jesus" or whoever.
