Pope John Paul II 'to be beatified within months'
The mayor of Rome, who would play a pivotal role in organizing the event, said the beatification of John Paul is expected to take place "at the latest" by 2010.

Speaking on a visit to Krakow, in the former Pope's native Poland, Gianni Alemmano said: "These are internal decisions (for the Vatican) but it is expected to take place at the latest by next year."

Vatican observers say the most likely date for the beatification would be April next year, on the fifth anniversary of the popular Pontiff's death. ...

"The process leading to sainthood usually takes decades, but Pope Benedict XVI launched the beatification process for John Paul just two months after his predecessor's death on April 5, 2005."

Beside the fact that Roman Catholics making gods you can pray to out of dead sinners is a fantasy, fiction and a comedy, this latest fast-tracking of JP brings the whole corrupt heresy into the realm of rediculous delusion.

2Thes 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Tim 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

So, the old devil is going to be made a Catholic "saint"? Who would be surprised? Last Pope Was No Saint Say RC Theologians. All Christians are saints! The Spirit Intercedes for the Saints.

Romans 8
27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren;
30 and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.---NASB
