Are you stating that the Methodist Church is a Cult? Do you also believe that the Lutheran, Episcopal and Presbyterian Churches are Cults? In otherwords if a church is not an Evangelical Protestant Church then it is a Cult?
Worship service is bride (us) reverencing groom (Christ).
By embracing marriage between man and man, these folks (in a subtle way) are showing that they don't want to be Christ's bride, but they want to be a groom as well, reflecting man's ongoing ultimate desire to BE God, or at least equal to Him.
I suppose lesbian marriage (bride-with-bride) is an equally subtle analogy of the church worshipping itself rather than God/Christ/groom.
Both unlawful attempts at defining marriage, distinct as they are, are really making the same rebellious statement.
This service will be a worship of SELF rather than God, but will be made to look as if God is being revered.
Say what? A worship service in support of fruit cake marriage? Well Jesus is not going to be present during that worship service because it is a worship service in support of Satan's fruit cake marriage agenda.
